We bought this pergola last spring when we poured our 26x25 concrete patio for our pool area. It was rather easy to install; looks great; very sturdy. We have added lights, wind chime, rug, fire pit, and 4 chairs underneath of it. We have had so many compliments! Well worth the purchase.

We bought this pergola for our lower level patio last summer. We wanted something to match our new home, and considered getting a cedar pergola since we have cedar trim on the ground level porch that sits above it. We decided on this one because it will be much less maintenance than cedar, and is still a great match to the house. We love it. My husband and I assembled it ourselves. If I am being 100% honest, the instructions were not great. Part of my job was writing instructions, and I would have added a lot more helpful detail that would avoid mistakes and backtracking. Regardless, we still love the pergola.

I'm so glad I found this pergola. It cost me a fraction of what I would won would've cost and it looks so much better. It's also so much sturdier than ones I saw in the local stores. It looks wonderful on my new deck and I can't wait to enjoy it all summer.

Love my new pergola. This is a quality product and the directions are easy enough to follow. It well built and not flimsy. I would recommend highly to anyone looking at one. The one draw back is the sun shade. It does not cover the entire top. It also has terrible tension tightening buckles. They need to come up with a better product for the shade.

I bought mine on April 11th and it was delivered only days later! I did hire someone to construct it for me which only took them 4 hrs. He even suggested it to another client who ended up ordering the cedar pergola! The entire process through Backyard Discovery was seamless! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend any of their products!

Love how its bringing everything and everyone together. Directions were simple. Some screws didn't thread correct and for the holes that have the outer ring, I superglued the ring prior to screwing. The first started spinning with the screw so there was no getting it in or taking it out. Hung LED lanterns. More decorations to go but the review is for the pergola :)

Sheer perfection. Every hole is perfectly aligned. Assembly instructions were clear. Total assembly time about 8 hours. ( by this 66 year old couple) Absolutely no regrets. Complements our space and looks phenomenal. Best of all, no maintenance! Love this product!!!!

Previously, I wrote a review about how much I love my pergola, and still do. In addition, I have had occasion to call for information twice, and both times I have been very impressed with the staff. The instructions say 2 people and 10 hours but i put it together on my own in 6 hours because the instructions were so easy to follow. i needed the help of my wife for about 20 mins to move the assembled short sides but outside of that it was too easy. love that this app is a thing.

We purchased this pergola in July. It took us, with the help of four friends (moats with some construction experience, but certainly no professionals), about four hours to assemble it. It was not hard at all with the help of the app. We are loving it so far! We have furniture, but still need to jazz it up a bit with some pillows, plants and outdoor lighting. It has added a calm space in which to hang out in our backyard. Can't wait for the fall weather when we will be able to enjoy it even more.
