Beautiful, solid kitchen staple.

I'm honestly so happy with this 7-quart fluted enameled cast iron Dutch oven. As soon as I took it out of the box, I loved how beautiful it looked—the fluted design gives it such a classic, elegant feel, and it looks gorgeous sitting on my stovetop. It also feels really solid and well-made, so I know it's something I'll be able to enjoy for a long time. I've been using it for soups, stews, chili, and braised meats, and the size is perfect when I'm cooking for my family or making enough to have leftovers. I also love using it for roast chicken and homemade bread. It holds heat really well and cooks everything evenly, and the enamel finish makes cleanup much easier. I love having cookware that is not only practical and versatile but also beautiful enough to bring right to the table.

I have used this dutch oven for several meals this week, all mainly meat stews and I am quite impressed. It's very heavy and quite big, nothing sticks at all and looks fancy on my countertop, looks much more expensive that it really is. All meals came out so soft as intended. Be careful the handles are not cool, you need to use some mittens on stovetop. I would really recommend this for everyday cooking.

First, I want to comment on its visual. I fell in love with it the moment I took it out from the box. The gold knob against the white enamel is just gorgeous! Very attractive and well-made. The weight is also perfect. Heavy as you expect for a cast iron, but not too heavy for its size. Made stew with it and it cooked evenly. Flavors are locked in and able to hold temperature for a long time. Easy clean up as well. My husband plans to use it this weekend to cook pot roast. So far, very pleased with it. Good quality for the value of money!

My second time getting pots from this brand and Honestly the only pots I need to cook. I made rice with sausage in this Dutch oven and 2 hours after turning it off the rice was still warm. I'm obsessed been using it a week and have cooked in it everyday.!!!

I received this product last week. Cooked some pork short ribs in the oven. Came out great. Love the Dutch oven. My only comments are that the 7.5 Qt is too big for two people. I would prefer the 5.5 quart. Second item is the commercial grade screw in the bottom of the lid looks odd. I would recess the under part of the lid to better hid the screw.

I loved it! This pot is perfect for making one of my favorite dishes: roast beef with gravy. I've always wanted a pot like this, and this Tramontina line is not only beautiful, but also very good finishing material.

This is beautiful and a piece that can be left on your stovetop with plenty of visual appeal. The blue slate is a lovely soft blue color and the fluting plus gold hardware makes it a simple, understated kitchen piece. This is also durable and great for making large batches of soups and stews. My other Tramontina dutch oven stains more easily than this one, so the finish and coating here is great.
