LOVE this dress. Was pleasantly surprised as I am usually very critical of dresses like this. It is very flattering for curvy figures. The smocking on top hits me in all the right places without being too loose on the shoulders and allowing the sleeves to slip. Sleeves are not too snug or tight where elastic hits your arms above elbows either. Fabric is pretty thin so I will probably wash on gentle and hang dry. Still very flattering. I'm 5'4” pear shaped and 200lb.

Bought the green/blue plaid, didn't realize it had silver threading through it (appeared white in photos) did size down to xs (5'3” 120lb) and the fit was as expected (Sam's dresses tend to run large) but gives more of a babydoll/empire silhouette. I prefer when the smocking goes down to natural waist (suspect may work better if flat chested), and prefer to wear gold accessories so will likely return. Material is thin, as another reviewer noted.

I got the green one in a large. I am a 40 -35-40 and weigh 165. I am tall. It's pretty but the fabric doesn't hang right and I could of fitted in a medium. Even skinny people will look chunky in this.

Like pattern. Just not a fan of it in me. Got a small. Still a bit oversized. Am 5'4. Length was fine. Just not flattering
