[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first the sphere was not charged so I had to charge it. out of the package. I recommend you do that first before trying to play with it. But I believe mine came defective It takes a while to charge and I follow all the instructions but I was not able to do a few of the things that it will attend to do. It does make a nice portable little fan. I used to have one before years ago and it is pretty fun to play with it's a bit noisy but if you find one working properly is fun to play it will be good for an outdoor toy. Just be careful to have enough open space while playing with this one.

Addressing other reviews: Yes: it is a bit hard to control. But with a little bit of patience -- and carefully throwing so its axis is tipped forward ONLY SLIGHTLY -- this works fine. Yes: it only has a run time of about 10 minutes. Batteries are heavy; this has a little one so it can lift itself. My adult children and I have had a blast with this; in fact, my 25 y/o daughter wants me to buy her a few more as gifts for her friends. So maybe don't buy this for young children.

Ok so the good thing is that my boys love this little thing, we got one for each of them. I really enjoy watching them play with them because they are pretty cool and the kids have so much fun. I feel like though someone on the development board should have said something about the battery life on these things. It's way to short. However the short charging time kinda makes up for it. Right about the time you start figuring out the tilts and such the batteries run out.

My kids fingers got caught in the inner fan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love the Magic Sphere Mini Pro! It's fun and entertaining, although it takes some practice to become skilled at using it. The glowing LED lights make it even more exciting, and there are so many cool tricks to learn. The interactive LED guidance is a great touch, especially when you're just getting started. The sphere is lightweight, easy to take on-the-go, and suprisingly durable, even after many failed trick attempts ended up with the sphere hitting the wall or floor. It's a fantastic toy for both kids and adults and makes a great gift. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Mini Sphere is very difficult to use. I watched videos online and read the directions but the sphere still wouldn't work properly. After some practice it eventually worked. I still haven't managed to do the boomerang because I held it properly but the sphere would drop to the ground.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is super cool! Didn't really know what I was getting but I thought it was a toy for kids. This is fun for adults. This thing does tricks plus more. Takes time and technique to nail the tricks but very cools when you do. Comes with a rechargeable battery and charger.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 8 year old has a blast with it, and frankly I can occasionally too. When it works, it can be pretty entertaining floating all over the place and doing tricks, all while being soft enough not to damage anything around the house as it will bump into everything. Unfortubately the charge does not last very long (about 5-10 mins) and is a bit awkward to charge due to placement of port and bizarre cradle. Also, the instructions are frankly terrible, you might as well just toss them in the trash right away and try to figure it out on your own. The QR code that comes with it, stating it will link to instructional videos, is also nonsense as it will basically take you to a video ad of the product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The wonder sphere is a fun little toy and easy to use once you get the hang of it. The lights look good and trying to learn new tricks makes it more entertaining. Launched it off the wall more than a few times and held up well so seems to be built sturdy and durable. Easy and quick to charge with any usb port so, the fun only had to stop for a small time.
