Remote buttons are small and not laid out the best. Remote is not backlit so hard to read in a dark room. Great as a bedroom tv that I use occasionally but I would get frustrated with the features of this was my main set, especially the slow response.

The picture is clear showing every detail and the sound is great for any movie because the background noise comes in clear as well which makes you become more involved in what you're watching.i still haven't used every function because I don't need them all. But it's betterbto have more than I need right now because I may need them in the future

I received the 40-inch Samsung Smart TV for Christmas along with a Samsung HW-S50B soundbar. The soundbar is connected vis HDMI cable. My problem is that I don't hear well, and even with the TV volume set at 100, which is the maximum volume, I still have trouble hearing. I can hear sounds just fine, but clearly understanding voices is a different matter. The maximum volume setting just isn't enough.

The interface is simple and fast, and apps open quickly without lag. Sound quality is also surprisingly good for a TV this size. Setup was easy and the remote is user-friendly. Perfect TV for bedroom or small living room. Great value for the price!
