I had been reading online to try to choose the best fit for me and its said that medium would be best for me since I'm overweight and a side sleeper but my husband is a back sleeper and also overweight. To my surprise when the mattress arrive, it was a lot firmer than I thought it would be. Like a lot firmer. The first night trying to sleep on the new mattress was hard, I tossed and turn all night. The second night was better but not by much. I looked online and read that it can take up to 1 month to break the bed in and for it to be more comfortable. It has been almost 3 weeks since I received the new mattress and I still think it's firm. This is not at all what I thought medium would be like. I sleep through the night now but I still waking up with some back pain because I don't think the mattress is supportive enough for me as a side sleeper. My husband said that he like the new mattress and that he has slept much better. Overall, I thought the mattress would be softer since it's a medium but I guess I will just have to get used to this mattress. Maybe if I'm really lucky, the mattress will break in even more and be more comfortable for me.

Keeps cooler than a normal bed and now I don't wake up hot or with achy back and bones from a broken down mattress! Serta js the way to go!

I used o have back pain and feel tired every morning. Now that I have used this mattress I feel more rested and no back pain. The quality of the mattress is always great, Serta doesn't disappoint.

It was time for a new mattress, so we tried a hybrid, but found it not comfy enough for side sleepers. So after a bit more research, we decided to go with a Serta Perfect Sleeper, since we had previously purchased a full size 10+ years ago and it's still comfortable! This queen size of the same make is very comfortable. Thankful for a good night's rest again, and no sore shoulders!

It really helps that it has the pillow top to give the bed a little more cushion and softness. It's great because neither of us sink to the middle of the bed. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first Serta I have owned. It's 14.5" so has a good amount of thickness to it and we have a queen. My husband is a back or stomach sleeper. He has broad shoulders and unfortunately snores. Some beds make his shoulders hurt if not enough padding. I am a side sleeper. This mattress has been great for us over the last couple weeks. The many coils help distribute movement to give yet a restful sleep if your partner moves around. One big plus to this mattress is it's not pretty much every night now that my husband snores. I am getting more of a restful sleep. With the combination of this mattress and pillow, my husband's shoulders have been comfortable. I plan to purchase a Serta in the future too.
