I'm using mine with a standard metal box spring and I couldn't be happier. I put a bamboo mattress protector over it but the mattress itself is really pretty. My mattress is thick, over 14 inches so make sure you get the sheets with deep pockets because otherwise the standard sheets will keep popping off. The quality of this mattress is amazing. I've been getting a great night's sleep ever since I got this mattress.

It is very supportive and gives a cuddle feel when sleeping. I am a notorious side sleeper, and this mattress perfectly contours to my shoulders and hips. Also, the daily aches and pains I get when I wake up first thing in the morning are gone. I had no idea that my old mattress caused me so much discomfort. I just thought I was getting old. It forms to my body but does not lose its shape. The mattress is so comfortable and I fall asleep easily on it. There is a reason this mattress is called a perfect sleeper, This mattress is extremely soft to the touch but when you lay on it you can feel it firm up and you don't sink. The sides tend to be softer than I would love but not enough to be a problem. Each night that I have slept on it has been great to which it has been very comfortable. I would definitely recommend the mattress to anyone since it has improved my sleep and back pain.

We both like a soft but not too soft mattress and this is something that we both agreed about. It is soft but it has a good support. Another issue that we have before is that every time I have to get up in the morning, my husband wakes up because of the bed movement. Thanks to this mattress, we don't have that problem anymore. We can both get up anytime without waking up each other. Definitely a good mattress!
