The gel memory foam provides additional comfort all night. The mattress cover has a cool-to-the-touch feel which helps with a more restful sleep.

I suffer from SEVERE Degenerative disk disease in the later stages and I honestly had been sleeping in my recliner chair until this bed came. It's the FIRST ONE I hadn't found myself waking up at night and having to leave the bed. I truly beleive its its the dual design of its coil springs & GEL MEMORY FOAM that CRADLES & SUPPORTS my body while sleeping ( especially to my LUMBAR & HIP REGION- where it usually hurts the most- that is making ALL the DIFFERENCE! ) I've also noticed I'm not having hot flashes like I normally do too, thats ANOTHER PERK! It's so thick and it's not to soft. It's big enough for me and my special needs daughter to have room to sleep. I absolutely love it!!

This mattress is the perfect combination of both and we both have had such an increase in our restful sleep since getting it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I noticed about the Serta Perfect Sleeper Lagoon is the thickness. . This mattress is over a foot thick. Once you lay on this mattress, it cradles your body and feels like a hug. This mattress is extremely comfortable. It is helpful for relieving back pain. I'm a side sleeper, and I do not wake up with numb arms when using this mattress. I'm in love.

I wasn't sure at first when I laid on the bed as it is definitely firmer than our memory foam mattress. Since sleeping on our Serta Perfect Sleeper I have not had any additional pain. In fact, it provides me with additional comfort and support, which has enabled me to sleep more soundly.

It has a chemical odor that slowly faded. Less firm than I like after sleeping on it 2 nights.

I have back problems already so i needed something that wasnt hard and going to make it worse. This serta mattress is the most comfortable mattress i have ever slept on. I sink right into it and stay asleep longer. No tossing or turning at all. It has stayed pretty nice so far no fading or snagging and the mattress bounces back after getting up so it don't leave in imprint where you sleep. It's the best mattress for anybody who wants to sleep comfortable.
