It is soft enough to be comfortable and firm enough to conform to you and give you the best night's sleep possible. The quality of sleep and comfort is spectacular. This Serta Perfect Sleeper mattress is pillow soft on top, supporting me where I need support and giving me exactly the level of firmness that I search for. This is a top notch quality mattress and I has exceeded my expectations. For these reasons, I would definitely recommend this mattress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! I love this mattress. I couldn't believe how thick it was when it was first delivered. I really feel like you sink right into the mattress. I would say the mattress somewhat "cuddles" you if you are a back sleeper. I would not describe this as a firm mattress but it is supportive. The quality seems really good and should hold up for many years. I have always been a fan of Serta in the past and they have seemed to keep up with the quality of their mattresses. I'm very pleased with this mattress and I am getting good rest. I have woke up with a sore back in the past. After using this mattress for a little over a week, I have yet to wake up with a sore back. So far, so good.

I suffer from SEVERE Degenerative disk disease in the later stages and I honestly had been sleeping in my recliner chair until this bed came. It's the FIRST ONE I hadn't found myself waking up at night and having to leave the bed.
