It's very thick and rigid that it feels you are sleeping on the clouds or being carried. I have never felt this comfortable sleeping.

After sleeping on the Cobalt Calm, I can happily say that it has helped reduce my lower back pain! The firmness of the mattress and continued support has helped minimize the amount of stress on my L5 disc. It is such a peaceful sleep, that I'd rather nap on my bed than the couch in the middle of the day! We are now looking to swap out the mattress in our guest room for a Serta Perfect Sleeper so that our family and friends can get the same type of sleep that we do when they spend the night! Definitely Serta for life!!

It provides just enough support so that when you get up in the morning you're not sore. It's definitely a thicker mattress than what we had had in the past and had to order deeper pocket sheets. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this mattress! I'm so happy that we got it! We switched from a 9 year old memory foam mattress and the difference is incredible. Our old mattress was very hot and developed a hump in the middle, with two valleys on the sides, where we sleep. This mattress is not hot at all! It is also pretty firm compared to our old one. The pillow top is really nice and firm too. It is a deep mattress, but I haven't had any issues with sheets popping off the corners. My husband and I are side and back sleepers and it seems to be perfect for us!
