Definitely left some product in the chambers so pour more than what you think you may need (up to 3C). Easy to operate, and clean. Great for a party!

After we got all the kinks worked out, the machine ran smoothly and quietly, and took about 20 minutes from pouring the ingredients in to finished product. The texture of our boozy slushies are great! Smooth, no big ice chunks, well mixed, and the drinks retain their texture for quite a long time. Afterward, cleaning and extruding seemed to go well, and disassembly for part cleaning was straightforward enough. The instruction manual is so poorly written you can't rely on it for much of anything, and cost my review 2 stars. On a surface level, the spelling and grammar look like they were written by a bot, or a non-native speaker, and not proofread. It made parts of the manual more difficult to understand, vagueness aside. I felt like the half size recipe quantities were on the scant side for volume to run the machine. We had a terrible grinding noise until we realized the 3 cup measure we put in based on recommendations was not enough for the machine to properly function. I seriously thought we were going to shake our counters apart. After we eyeball added more liquid, things smoothed out. The manual often suggests "choose a colder setting" but doesn't indicate what that *means* in terms of settings on the machine. There is no context given for how the texture settings and level settings actually relate to the temperature. All in all, we'll be happy to explore this machine more, and make it work for us. Good luck with that instruction manual!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All I used was a boxed vanilla custard eggnog sold in stores. I literally dumped it in it and turned it on. It got ready in about 30 to 40 minutes, it was very easy to control what I wanted and how I wanted, it seems very well made, easy to put apart and clean and it can hold ice-cream for a whole party! I kept it on during lunch and we could not even hear it. Once we were done eating the ice-cream was ready to serve for desert. I have been looking for a good ice cream machine that I didn't have to keep freezing anything before when I wanted ice cream and I could not find one. This one is just perfect.

Unlike the cheap "freeze-the-cup" versions, this has a built-in compressor, so you don't have to pre-freeze anything—it chills itself. It’s got a solid, countertop-friendly design and features six specific modes: Soft Ice Cream, Slushie, Spiked Slushie, Sorbet, Milkshake, and Extrude/Clean. It also has 7 different texture levels depending on how thick you want your drink. I used it to make a spiked Coke Zero slushie and was impressed it actually held up. Usually, alcohol lowers the freezing point so much that these machines just produce a cold liquid, but the "Spiked Slushie" mode handles it perfectly by adjusting the temperature. Quick tips for this specific drink: * Because Coke Zero is sugar-free, it can get a bit "icy" rather than creamy, so I recommend setting the texture dial a bit higher (level 5 or 6). • Mix your spirit with the soda before pouring it in. • The manual says to stir or shake the soda first to get some of the carbonation out so it freezes more evenly. It’s way better than just putting a soda in the freezer and forgetting about it until it explodes. Easy to clean, too, especially with the dedicated clean mode.

I made vanilla ice cream and it took about 35–40 minutes, and it beeps when it’s done, which is a nice feature. You can adjust the texture if you want it more/less solid. I like that you don’t have to freeze anything ahead of time or freeze after. You can eat it right out of the machine. It’s also really easy to clean! I would definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product in exchange for my honest review. I absolutely love this thing!! I didn't know these even existed. This product has so many different features and you can make soft serve ice cream, for the yogurt, sorbet, slushies, the possibilities are endless! We tried the soft serve ice cream option because I used to work at dairy Queen and love soft serve! This thing is basically a mini ice cream machine from there. It's super easy to use you just mix up the ingredients and pour it in and turn on the setting for the frozen treat you want and push start. It took a couple of tries to get the consistency we wanted but it's super easy to use even I could figure it out. We also put the leftover ice cream in a container and froze it. One of the things I really liked about this machine is how quiet it is while it's mixing. I'd say it took about 45 minutes before it beeped and said it was ready for the soft serve setting. In addition to being quiet, this machine seems very well made and works better than the cheaper ice cream maker so you can buy in stores. Considering it is a fully functioning mini ice cream machine with a cooler inside, it's definitely worth the price point. We can't wait to try out the frozen cocktail setting and make some margaritas. We will definitely be getting lots of use out of this item and I recommend to anyone that enjoys frozen treats of any kind! Literally the only negative is it's kind of a pain to clean, but not as bad as I thought and it does get easier as you learn how to put it together and what pieces go where. Cleaning it and taking it apart probably took 10 to 15 minutes so not terrible. Definitely buy this!!

Very clear instructions for assembly, disassembly and cleaning. Many recipes included and tips on how to modify them to create other flavors. We started with milkshakes and while our first try was a little thick for our preference it's easy to adjust consistency to meet your needs. This thing does everything from slushies to ice cream, milkshakes to sorbet and even spiked slushies! Time varies for your creations to finish based on what is in it to the quantity you are making but our milkshakes only took a little over 30 minutes. Easy peasy and very happy to have this in our home!
