Hi, sorry for the bad news because I love, love, love your popped cheddar cheese rice crisps, but this bagged lacked the cheesy flavor that I have been accustomed to. It lacked a lot of the cheese powder that make them so great. I hope this was just an over-site in production as a one time only and not an effort to save money by putting in less cheese powder. If it was an accident, please be careful going forward because I don't want to stop buying these chips, if they start to lack flavor I'll find another brand. Otherwise, with the correct amount of cheese powder these are AWSOME!

My kids like cheese so I thought I let them try it out...when I first tasted them they we're SO incredible salty. The cheese was bold but not in a good way, I have had better tasting cheese snacks. The size was convenient and fun for my kids, my kids like them. But I don't think I will be buying more after these are done...thanks anyways.

I had bought a bag of Popped - Cheddar Cheese and when I came home to enjoy a small bowl of them! When I was almost done, I had found about 5 LITTLE BLACK BUGS DEAD. And another one was INSIDE the rice chip! I don't even know if I ate a few bugs but I am furious because it was a brand NEW bag, NOT OPENED! I didn't find any small holes around the bag to see if the bugs had entered before I bought the bag. But now I feel extremely sick and they tasted a little old! DONT. BUY!

At first glance, this looked like a better alternative to chips and cookies. The taste was so satisfying and the calorie count was low. As such, I went to the store and purchased three more bags. I even recommended the product to family members. I was so disappointed to learn that these crisps contain msg!!! All three additional bags were returned and my family members are no longer interested in purchasing this product. Quaker can and should do better!

I'm so disappointed in quicker. These cheddar rice cakes would be perfect if not for the addition of MSG. Who put MSG in food anymore? Everybody knows it is so bad for the body and so many people are allergic or sensitive to it. It's such a shame because my gluten-free daughter would love to eat these, but there's no way I'm putting that toxic chemical in her body

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received samples for the Quaker Popped Rice Chips as a bzzagent. We are fans, in my house, of quaker rice cakes (especially the chocolate), so we were excited to try the new flavors. The big hits in our house were the caramel and the sour cream/onion. My kids actually cheered when I poured them into their snack bowls! The caramel are a little crisper and thinner with the sweet caramel coating. The sour cream and onion and the cheddar are slightly thicker with a powdered favor coating each circle. I was surprised when my children tried the cheddar, that they did not care for the flavor at all. I have three children and they all made faces when they licked the snack. My three year old handed it right back and turned her head. All my kids like cheese snacks, so I was shocked. The other two flavors had absolutely the opposite response. I like that they are a healthier alternative to snacking and my kids act as excited as if I put a bowl of candy in front of them. I would definitely purchase the caramel and sour cream/onion flavors again and will recommend them to friends and family.

I've been buying Quakes / Popped rice snacks for over 5 years now. In the past year, I've noticed that the taste of the snacks has become increasing unsatisfying compared to when I first started buying them. So I decided to test 6 different bags and see if I was just getting a bad batch. Sadly, every bag was the same and was not very good. Quakes / Popped used to be fuller and thicker, now they're very flat and squished looking which I think takes away from the flavor. They are also VERY OVER SEASONED now...I have to bang each snack on my plate to knock off excess seasoning before I can eat it. I'm not sure if the recipe changed but I know they used to be consistently better no matter how many bags I bought. Fix this snack!

Not paying attention and popped a few in my mouth. Immediately tasted something foul and spit out a large chunk of something dark brown/black, very gritty in texture and tasted worse than very burnt popcorn Upon reading reviews, it seems as if this is a common issue, which is somewhat comforting that no one has appeared to suffer ill effects from this mystery substance.

I really wish you would put out some simpler, more natural flavors. Rice cakes don't need all this sugar and added flavor enhancers etc. I want a simple healthy snack for myself and my kids. And why on earth do you need to add corn to a rice cake?! Just rice please and something that is more allergen friendly (no dairy, wheat, corn etc.) and I would definitely consider buying these on a regular basis.

My husband enjoyed the cheddar nice cakes, I thought they tasted artificial like a cheap cheese doodle, the deal breaker on all these "flavors" were the chemicals used to enhance the flavor of a snack marketed as a "healthy" snack! I would rather give my family a snack like air popped popcorn or something with real sugar !
