Supportive but very comfortable due to the pillow top. I love that you can go all the way to the very side of the bed and still feel like you are in the middle of it. Two people sleeping on this is perfect. No need for a king size Love this bed

After trying 3 beds from my local mattress store I finally gave up and went to Macys’s where I found this luxury Beauty Rest firm mattress. I have spinal fusions and chronic back pain and have had this bed 5 days and in absolute sleep heaven. I wake up with no back pain and can sleep comfortably on my back or side. This mattress is worth every penny if you want support and comfort.

I just recently had laid on a few bed at the mattress store and I didn’t lay on a beauty rest mattress but I laid on all the Purple mattresses because I’ve heard great things about them and I was very interested in getting the top of the line purple mattress they had but decided to wait instead. I’m so glad I waited because this bed is better than all the purple mattresses easily. They say it takes a certain amount of time to adjust to a new bed, but for this bed that wasn’t the case. The first night I slept on it I slept so good! My body didn’t even hurt like it usually does! My hips and my back were finally able to rest and I felt amazing when I woke up. After our previous Beautyrest mattress failed, we got the black in series 3, firm. My husband and I bought it about 3-4 months ago. Long story short, it failed. There are two dents in the bed from us. Had the inspector come today and confirm the mattress had failed. It also is advertised as "firm", but is a "medium". Even as a medium, there should not be two big dents in the bed now. Beautyrest quality has drastically declined, and the beds are mostly stuffed with soft garbage, it seems. We are done with this brand. This is sad, because it once was a coveted mattress brand. Now they just produce trash that fails. We will be going to a private and local mattress company. Will be getting a simple, no frills mattress. Zero padding and definitely no pillow top. A firm, old-fashioned mattress is the best. I thought this bed would be it, but I should have known it had too much padding. I would definitely consider an old Beautyrest model, if still sold as new. Note: we are average weight people, and the bed looks like two cows slept in it. He is 6+ft/200, I am 5'4/125.

It has been a drastic change from a more firm mattress to a softer mattress. I see how my husband is able to sleep more hours without having to wake up tired. It is a great choice.

It’s made to relieve pressure and to keep you cool and dry at night while asleep. It’s extremely durable and even though it costs more than a traditional mattress, it will give you the best sleep of your life and last for much longer than the other beds.
