Before I started sleeping on this bed, I struggled to get up in the morning, but now being in bed feels like an indulgence and I wake up so refreshed. I didn't realize until I made the switch how a fantastic bed can make me feel 10 years younger after just a short time. * With the pocketed coil, triple steel wired design and layers upon layers of patented foam technologies, my husband and I are able to sleep soundly next to each other with no bouncing, squeaking or sinking. I no longer wake up if my husband does. In fact, I don't even think either of us feel each other move at all during our sleep anymore. * I love that the mattress provides so much support by conforming to my body, but only as much as it needs to. It's the greatest combination of firm and soft because it doesn't sink at all, but the layered foam design makes it incredibly comfortable the moment I lie down. I have scoliosis, and my husband has shoulder issues from a motorcycle accident as a kid, so it's important we have a supportive mattress. But let me tell you, I had no idea a mattress could be THIS supportive. I don't know if it's the Surface Touch Gel Memory Foam, the Self Response Latex, or the 2K Nano Coils, but when you lay down you can immediately feel this mattress conform to envelop every part of your body like a cloud. There are no uncomfortable pressure points, I don't wake up with numb spots anymore, and so sleep so soundly and wake up without pain! One of my other favorite aspects is the motion separation! Hubby is a flopper, and it use to wake me up constantly, but now he can flip flop to his heart (or shoulders) content, and I barely even feel it! I also appreciate the attention that was taken to control temperature with the Sleep Climate Technology and Micro Diamond memory foam! As a gal who is right about the age where hot flashes may soon become a concern, this is a super important feature to me! It's a little taller than I was expecting, and since our bed is already kind of high, I will probably grab a low profile foundation at some point to lower it to a perfect height. But it's still manageable as is, and my sheets still fit! I really couldn't be happier with it though! I tend to sleep on my sides, or back, and it's perfect for either position! I always feel perfectly supported, and even after a couple of weeks of sleeping on it, I still drift off to sleep each night thinking about how amazing it feels!

After trying 3 beds from my local mattress store I finally gave up and went to Macys’s where I found this luxury Beauty Rest firm mattress. I have spinal fusions and chronic back pain and have had this bed 5 days and in absolute sleep heaven. I wake up with no back pain and can sleep comfortably on my back or side. This mattress is worth every penny if you want support and comfort.

After our previous Beautyrest mattress failed, we got the black in series 3, firm. My husband and I bought it about 3-4 months ago. Long story short, it failed. There are two dents in the bed from us. Had the inspector come today and confirm the mattress had failed. It also is advertised as "firm", but is a "medium". Even as a medium, there should not be two big dents in the bed now. Beautyrest quality has drastically declined, and the beds are mostly stuffed with soft garbage, it seems. We are done with this brand. This is sad, because it once was a coveted mattress brand. Now they just produce trash that fails. We will be going to a private and local mattress company. Will be getting a simple, no frills mattress. Zero padding and definitely no pillow top. A firm, old-fashioned mattress is the best. I thought this bed would be it, but I should have known it had too much padding. I would definitely consider an old Beautyrest model, if still sold as new. Note: we are average weight people, and the bed looks like two cows slept in it. He is 6+ft/200, I am 5'4/125.

I first laid on this display of the Beautyrest Black Series 3 Plush probably a year and a half ago. And the poor sales guy was very professional but he knew each time I always ended up on it saying one day I'll get one. We'll I finally did. No I'm a disabled vet and work oil rigs. I beat my body up on a constant basis. And slept on the couch alot when I got home. I was used to rolling out of bed and waiting to stop hurting to stand up and figure out what else will hurt the rest of the day. The cooling abilities to body alignment to form hugging comfort make this a Number 1 in my book. Thank you Beautyrest for blessing us all with such a wonderful product.

We did not want to get this mattress. We were hoping that we could find one for less money. But, after testing this mattress compared to every other one, including some that were twice as expensive, there was just nothing that compared. And, because we are getting older, and our bodies are impacted for the entire day based on how we sleep, we felt it was worth it if we could get better rest, and not be sore in the morning. We had a firm Sealy Posturepedic, and are sidesleepers, and it seems we both needed something softer, but not plush. This is the PERFECT balance. If every night is like the last two, this is going to be amazing, and well worth the money!

I have chronic pain from an accident I was in and this mattress hugs my body in the right places while I sleep. I no longer wake up feeling extra stiff.

Ordered the Plush Pillow Top Queen size. It's very plush, comfortable, and supportive. I don't wake up with hip pain or lower back pain anymore. Price is kinda insane, though -- luckily, it was $600 off when I bought it, plus a $400 Sam's gift card with purchase. It also runs a little hot, although it's advertised as being cool, hence the 4 stars instead of 5.

It’s very well made and provides great support despite only being of medium firmness. Neither of us has had a sweaty night since we got it despite the 100• temperatures we’re having right now. The one complaint is the way the pillow top is designed. Instead of being the same thickness to the edge of the mattress, it gently slopes down to mattress height. Both my partner and I have felt like we were falling off the bed because of this. Overall, the mattress is great but I wouldn’t buy one simply because of the way it feels like you’re falling off the mattress when you get onto the outer six inches of the mattress.
