The shelf life seems to be good because it isn't stuck all together. It isn't salty. And the value seems great because it will last a long time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kinder's sent me the Louisiana Heat Seasoning, and I immediately started looking around the kitchen for things to put it on. 😂 It has a really nice Cajun-style kick with plenty of savory flavor, so it's not just heat for the sake of making your mouth suffer. I've tried it on chicken, fries, and roasted potatoes so far, and each time it added enough spice to wake everything up without completely taking over the meal. The 10.1 oz bottle is a generous size, which is good because I've been reaching for it constantly. If you enjoy some heat but still want to actually taste your food, this hits a really nice balance. Next up, I'm definitely trying it on shrimp!

It has this tangy almost vinegar like smell to it but that flavor doesn't come through once you eat it! The flavor is savory, garlicky, peppery and slightly smoky with a decent amount of heat that kinda grows as it lingers but doesn't become unbearable! I've found that I love using it almost as a dry rub for my boneless chicken. It's a super fine milled spice that is just dusts on really nicely!

It has a fine powder consistency and is not overly salty. Perfect to cook with when you want some spicy notes. Also worked well to sprinkle on some rice or side dish to kick up the heat level.

It has some spice to it but not too hot where it's burning your mouth. It is packed with flavor so you don't need to put too much seasoning. It's easy to pour out with the lid as well.

You really can smell and taste the peppers in there, the scent is very pungent and I love it. I am a garlic lover and this blend really delivers on garlic flavor.
