be careful

i prefer the heavy weight foil but the package is clumsy and heavy and I'm afraid I'll drop it, slash my femoral artery and bleed to death on the kitchen floor. otherwise it's a very nice product.

like regular foil

Their heavy foil used to be heavy "thicker" than regular foil. Now it is seems to be about as think as regular foil just a few years ago.

Members Mark Heavy Duty Tin Foil

I paid over $35, before tax, for this tin foil. By no means is it “heavy duty.” It tears very easily, and one must use twice as much to wrap an item for freezing. In the future, I'll go back to Reynold's Wrap, even though it's very costly too and the box contains less foil.

Sticky

A large portion of our roll was stuck together and could not be used. We have never had this happen before. We had to roll a bunch of it off and discard it before we could get back to usable foil.

It’s sucks now

This stuff used to be great, but the most recent roll I purchased was significantly thinner. It rips if you look at wrong, and is good for nothing. I would rather the price be increased and keep the quality, over making it thinner and complete trash that it is now. Hoping I got a bad batch, but don’t think I’m going to buy ever again…

i own a barbecue restaurant and wrap hundreds of pounds of meat ever week. this week i noticed the foil wasnt as thich that we had in the past. so i compared my new box of foil to my old box of foil. Not only did it go from 500 ft. to 400 ft. and definitely thinner than my old foil, it also looks like a price increase has taken place.

Defective Roll and Unhelpful Customer Service

I purchased the Member’s Mark Heavy Duty Food Service Foil and was disappointed with both the product and the customer service experience. While using the roll, the foil repeatedly ripped down the center and along one side because sections appeared to be glued together. I had to unroll and discard several layers before reaching a section that would actually pull and tear correctly. Not only was this wasteful, but it was also frustrating to deal with while trying to prepare food. The product is marketed as “heavy duty,” yet it ripped far too easily. If foil tears this readily due to defects in the roll, it’s hard to have confidence in the heavy-duty claim. When I contacted customer service, I was told that because I didn’t report the issue within 72 hours of purchase, there was nothing they could do. This is a large food service roll that is intended to last a long time. Expecting customers to completely unroll and inspect a massive roll within three days to catch hidden manufacturing defects is unrealistic. The defective product was disappointing enough, but the unwillingness to stand behind it after such a short window was even more disappointing.

NOT HEAVY DUTY

I have been purchasing this foil for years now, they have changed the thickness of this foil to extremely thin. I was trying to wrap an aluminum pan, the foil was easily tearing. The foil used to be so thick that if you weren't careful with it, it would cut you, NOW it's more thin and flimsy than Dollar Tree aluminum foil. Over $40 for $1 type of material. This is beyond ridiculous. I cannot believe how thin this "heavy duty" foil is now. This has to be a joke.

Thin

I have used this foil for years! I currently use about three rolls of this a month. The quality in the “Heavy Duty “ foil has went downhill drastically. It’s barely as good as the thin used to be. I literally have to be careful wrapping loaves of bread so the bread doesn’t poke a hole in the foil. I compared it to a “heavy duty“ roll that a family member had that was about four years old and the new stuff is less than half as thickthick.

Horrible now, not worth buying

Wow, how times have changed for the worse for this foil. It is so thin now that I slit open my finger using this low quality Foil. It is now thinner and hard to wrap things up with this foil. While trying to fold up your food or whatever, the foil then becomes a weapon. It is so sharp and pointy. Once I am done with this foil, I am moving on to another brand until the quality get better. Why pay more for less these days
