This purchase was my 2nd Dyson. The on switch is a great upgrade from holding the power while vacuuming! Also no longer have to switch heads for floor cleaning to carpet, now just one does it all. Great suction, and easy to get around and under things. I can do my whole house on a single charge. Also like that the dust container is large and empties easily. It also comes off to wash. Dyson makes a great product!!

I bought Vcyclone 8 on the recommendation of the staff @Dyson. I previously had a Dyson V11, and I was told this model is retired. The V11 had a stand up charging stand. Cyclone 8 charging apparatus is different as it has to be attached to a wall close to an electrical outlet. How I would want to use the V11 stand. Dissatisfaction for me with Cyclone 8 is finding a place to attach charging apparatus. I pray Cyclone 8 is not being retired anytime soon. Can I get suggestions of where I can attach charging apparatus. Dyson is the vacuum to make your home “hippocampus happy the way it cleans”.

So easy to use and store. My son in law hung it for easy accessibility. Mainly use for wooden floors in my kitchen that always has crumbs and wooden foyer floor where dirt is tracked in. No more lugging out the heavy sweeper. Plus having no cord is sweet.

This is our third Dyson Vacuum and the quality just keeps getting better. The dust capacity, filtration, maneuverability, runtime, and suction are all excellent. My favorite feature is not having to remove hair from the roller brush that impeccably stays clean after vacuuming several rooms with two strictly indoor cats. Dyson vacuums are supreme and well worth the investment!

I bought this V8 Cyclone to replace my V11 that the motor needed replacing right after the warranty expired. The only thing I really like is the lighter weight and on/off switch compared to the other Dyson stick vacuums. The plastic seems much more flimsy, just hope it lasts longer. The dust container more complicated to empty than the other models.

The modular format is so convenient, and the pieces are easy to change out. There are also three power levels, and the highest provides VERY strong suction. It works well for rugs, hardwood, and furniture, but there are a few drawbacks too. The front of the head is rounded and quite tall, so it doesn't fit under some of my furniture. The plastic pieces like the mechanism to empty the debris chamber also feel kind of flimsy. I was afraid I was going to break it the first time I opened and closed it, but thankfully I didn't!

It's lightweight enough to carry around the house and maneuver around furniture. The suction is strong for pet hair, dust, and everyday messes. The battery life is sufficient for my regular cleaning sessions, though I do find myself recharging it often, and I still prefer the button design on some of the older models. I like that it has a swappable battery and three adjustable power modes. It comes with a Crevice Tool attachment, which makes it easy to clean narrow spaces, as well as a Wall Dock for convenient storage. Gifted by Dyson.

This worked okay while it lasted but it went dead after 4 months. I was never impressed with the quality of the unit it felt really flimsy especially when you pull up the metal filter to clean it out. We took it back to Sam's Club since it wasn't working and traded it for the quarter unit with the big ball on the bottom also made by Dyson but it's so heavy my wife can barely push it. Our next vacuum will not be made by Dyson.
