If you have owned any other Dyson product, this vacuum aligns with the quality and ease of use you would expect. The reduced price that I was able to secure made me feel even better about the purchase. I would highly recommend this device for ease of use and a quick option to clean up a messy situation

I love my Dyson cordless Cyclone vacuum! I love how lightweight it is and how easy it is to operate. The suction is absolutely great and it can get under tables…chairs & the sofa! The runtime is really good…I use it several times a day for the main parts of my home and charge it every couple of days.

I bought this vacuum cleaner because my original one is 8 years old, and I want an "extra" Dyson in my house. I use it virtually every day! Was pleasantly surprised at the improvement of the Dyson 8 since I received mine as a gift years ago. Now it's easier to clear the bin, and not having to use your trigger finger to operate the machine is wonderful! (Good job, engineers!!)

Bought V8 atmonth ago and the suction power is great on floors and wall-to-wall carpet. But too much suction power for thin (washable) rug pieces and deep pile throw rugs. Looking for an attachment that would be better suited for those types carpets. The V10 was great for thin rugs.

Highly impressed by this vacuum. The minute I sat it on the floor it immediately began sucking up pet hair that I didn't even know was there. My floors have never felt so clean. Its portability makes it easy to use on the stairs as well. This is a very welcome product in my home.

I’ve had the vacuum for about a month. I feel like it does a great job. It’s powerful, quiet, compact, and has sufficient battery life to clean all I need in one pass. My one complaint is the hand clearance for the grip. It physically hurts my hand to hold it and vacuum. I wasn’t expecting that to be an issue, and it’s probably the one thing that would drive me to another brand, all else being equal. It’s quite unfortunate, because it seems like an easy thing to get right. Unless you have smaller than average hands, this will be an issue for you too. I do like the fact there is a button to turn it on vs the trigger. I held out for that change before purchasing. Had I known about the grip issue I probably would have held off for that change too. Other than that, I really like it.

I own 3 of these and between all three I can vacuum my very small house. I will never buy another one until they make is so you can swap out the batteries like you do with battery operated power tools. When it is working, it will suck the carpet off the floor.

I have one of these and still have it. Works great BUT there are (2) issues that make me angry with it sometimes. (1) battery life is crap %26 no where 60 min as advertised, no idea where Dyson got that from. (2) Recharge time is S L O W. These two things make a great vac only mediocre. Still use it tho and love it WHEN ITS CHARGED.

I am not nearly as happy with my new Dyson as I was with my old model. It is heavier and bigger, not by just a little. I guess it works the same, it's OK. The smaller roller head not included and due to upgrades that I don't understand, I cannot use the old one in the new model so it will be trashed and I will have a heavier model which I am forced to use the bigger head on areas like the stairs, so more weight for me to deal with.

This worked okay while it lasted but it went dead after 4 months. I was never impressed with the quality of the unit it felt really flimsy especially when you pull up the metal filter to clean it out. We took it back to Sam's Club since it wasn't working and traded it for the quarter unit with the big ball on the bottom also made by Dyson but it's so heavy my wife can barely push it. Our next vacuum will not be made by Dyson.
