I would give a 4-star rating for this purchase. It is not convenient as a glass container because you can't dishwash/microwave lid/divider - it is always extra work to clean. But it is stylish, looks sturdy and big. Will buy more!

Difficult to open

I bought these for my child’s lunch box. The lid is very difficult to open. It caused the insides to spill out when using force to open. Also don’t like that you have to remove valve, that will definitely get lost

Too hard to open

We bought it for the kids to use at school and it's way too hard to open even as adults after following the instructions. I bought it for 2 of my kids and feel like money is wasted.

Because the MicroSteel container uses an airtight silicone seal to prevent leaks, trapped air or temperature changes can sometimes create a strong vacuum seal, making it stubborn to open. Tips for Opening the Lid: Release the Silicone Valve: Make sure to pull up on the silicone air release valve/plug on top of the lid first to break the vacuum seal before trying to lift the latches or cover. Warm the Edges: If it remains stuck, running warm water briefly around the outer edge of the lid can help loosen the silicone seal. We want to make this right for you. Returned because it is hard to open / not kid frie

Looks good and decent size but it is not easy to open. I returned as it not kid friendly because the seal is too good and they can’t open it. Even an adult has problems opening it without using a lot of force despite the vent being open.
