There seems to be a fine line between enough absorption to hold messes for potty training and too much that the child cannot feel any wetness. I feel these Easy-Ups absorb too well for the potty-training child. They cannot feel that they've wet until they're very wet, which defeats the purpose of potty training. I suggest using cloth underwear during the day for actual training. That being said, I very much like the consistency of using a diaper that can pull-up, so that it's underwear-like in application -- my child doesn't need me to help dress, so when getting ready for bed, the mechanics of dressing is the same as in the morning (with cloth underwear). My child does wet through this product at night, which is a bummer. I have to change half-way through the night. I might need to try a more absorptive night-time pull-up-type product. I stay with these, because my experience with Pampers has been top notch. They have my loyalty.

But it made changing after accidents difficult because you couldn't undo any tabs on the side, you had to take off your child's shoes and pants. My son's daycare even asked me not to have him wear them due to the time it took to change him during potty time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use pull ups for overnight wear for our 4 yr old. He's daytime potty trained and these help him still feel like a "big boy" at nighttime. They are as absorbent as diapers which make me feel confident as well as him. However, I don't like that there's not much coverage on the backside.

I have been through about 7 different brands of pull-ups and easy ups to help with potty training for my son. These are the only ones that have not only caught his attention with the designs and characters but they are more comfortable than any other brand we have tried. They are very absorbant which is amazing because my son can really fill up his potty and pull up.

It does fit great but unfortunately he is having a difficulty pulling them down and back up unlike his diapers. This is only for trail and error so he could get out of diapers into his underwear for now.

I remember when I was potty training my daughter and the only real choice for the potty training stage was pull ups or diapers with underwear. I've always preferred Pampers for my children as far as diapers, and I remember wishing that Pampers had an option as far as the in-between stage went. Now that they have easy ups and I have been using them with my son, who is still in the early stages of potty training, I am not disappointed. I remember my daughter leaking through her pull ups all the time, on the first time. With Easy Ups, I have not experienced a leak through yet, whether he's in them for an hour or all night. I am so grateful that Pampers finally has a product like this out there and would recommend it to any family who is either just testing the waters with potty training their child, or is almost at the point of no longer needing protection except for the occasional night time mishap. Sent my husband to the store to buy some training pants that we usually get. He was in a hurry and bought these. I thought to my self my son had always used their diapers as a baby (they fit him better than any other diapers) so they should be as good as what we usually buy. I liked that easy ups, are easy for him to pull up/off himself. He isn't a big fan of Diego so he was a little disappointed about that. I suggest You offer other characters for boys like Doc Mcstuffins Stuffy. I like that they are leak-free HOWEVER I wish they didn't absorb as much as they do (since my son isn't uncomfortable he doesn't mind doing "it" on himself) I don't like that the sides aren't as easy to take off if he poops. I Also don't like that after a day of playing in them they look really bad as if he has had the same one on for months. I think my husband said these were a little cheaper then Huggies pull ups. If you could make these changes I would buy them at the same price as pull-ups. I really wish we would have took them back and get what we always buy for him.

My kids like using pull ups because of the pictures/designs on them. My kids don't like using pull ups because of how bunched up they get between their legs. Yes we have tried several sizes and they all bunch up. The pull ups do hold quite a bit though when the designs fade my kids could care less. If the stores I shopped at stocked the pull ups that got cold when wet I think my kids would be more inclined to be more proactive in their potty training.
