High quality and built to last
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Laurel 6-Drawer Double Dresser checked every box for us when it came to finding a stylish, high-quality dresser for our son's nursery. Right away, the materials felt noticeably more premium than many similarly priced options we considered. The drawers are made from smooth pine rather than particle board, which makes the piece feel sturdy, durable, and built to last. We live in a humid climate, so having furniture made with higher-quality materials that won't easily warp or deteriorate was especially important to us. Assembly was also a better experience than expected. My husband spent about three hours putting the dresser together, from unboxing to final setup. We've assembled a lot of furniture over the years, and this felt very manageable overall, with clear instructions and a fairly straightforward process. Design-wise, the dresser fits beautifully into our nursery. The walnut-toned wood accent along the bottom adds warmth and ties in perfectly with the rest of the room. My only small critique is that the chrome handles don't quite match our decor style, but fortunately they're easy to replace, and the standard screw spacing gives us plenty of options for swapping in different hardware. Overall, we're extremely happy with this dresser. It feels thoughtfully made, functional for everyday use, and elevated enough to make the nursery feel complete. I received this dresser from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
Nursery dresser
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently received this six-drawer nursery dresser from Stellar Reviews, and overall we are really happy with it! The white finish with the natural wood-colored base gives it such a clean, minimal look that fits perfectly in our space. Our room is on the smaller side, so we needed something with a lot of storage that wouldn't feel oversized, and this ended up being the perfect size. This is actually the first piece of furniture we've gotten while preparing for our second son, since we'll be combining the boys' rooms, so storage was really important to us. The six drawers hold a surprising amount, and we already know they'll be great for all the burp cloths, clothes, and baby essentials that come with having a newborn. My favorite thing about this dresser is definitely how smooth the drawers pull out. Even when they're full, they glide really easily, which makes such a difference for everyday use. I also love the contrast of the natural wood base against the white dresser. The only downside for us was the assembly process. It was pretty time-consuming and took my husband a little over an hour one day, then about two more hours for me to finish the next day while chasing around my toddler. There were a lot of screws and pieces, so staying organized was important. We also noticed a pretty strong smell when opening the box, kind of like paint or packaging material, so I'd recommend putting it together in a well-ventilated area. Overall, though, I would definitely recommend this dresser, especially if you're looking for a light-colored dresser with lots of storage and a clean, modern look.
Sturdy and Does The Job
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best thing about this dresser is that it mostly uses real wood, which is so rare to find in any furniture product these days. That's what makes this product sturdy, safe, and a worthwhile product that will last and can be used for multiple nurseries. However, because it's real wood, it means it's extremely heavy—so keep that in mind for assembly and moving! It took me longer than I expected, and I wish I had a second person to help. The detail touches like the curve edges are nice, but I could do without the silver handles. It would have been nicer with a sleeker handle (or one that was invisible, like an indentation). Overall, it's a really solid dresser for the price! I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
Smooth assembly
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were lucky enough to get this dresser from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and it is absolutely a perfect fit for our babies room! When we first got the Lauren 6- drawer double dresser I was a little concerned with how heavy it was. Having moved a few times, we try to avoid the heavier, more difficult to move items as much as possible, but in this case the weight is probably one of the things I appreciate the most about this dresser. When I unboxed everything and started putting it together I learned that most of the weight of the dresser is the back panel, which as parents with a baby that's starting to climb EVERYTHING, that extra weight in the back keeps it more sturdy so we can worry less about it falling on him. This dresser looks simple in a beautiful way, which we are all about. We were a little hesitant about the smaller handles while we were assembling it, but they are big enough that they really aren't annoying at all. We really love the darker wood bottom and legs, it breaks up the full white in a subtle and beautiful way. We really enjoy that it is the perfect height and width for using the top as a changing table. As a husband/dad that has assembled his fair share of “easily assembled” furniture, I was very pleasantly surprised with how smooth this was to put together. My wife was tired of hearing about how this is the first thing I've ever assembled that every single hole lined up perfectly. As I mentioned earlier, this dresser is STURDY. Not just sturdy pieces, but sturdy hardware. This isn't one of those dressers with tiny little screws that get lost in the carpet. The only thing I struggled with, that was mostly user error, is that the drawers do have to go in a certain way (meaning side to side, not just the obvious top to bottom). The drawers have a different sized lip on either side so you have to make sure you get them in the right side to side, or they won't fit. But a couple minutes of trial and error and it was an easy fix. I honestly can't say enough about how impressed I was with the assembly process of the Laurel Dresser, I actually find myself enjoying the process instead of being frustrated and worried about how I was going to have to “just make it work”. It was refreshing. Someone really took pride in designing this dresser for baby safety, easy assembly, and plain and simple beauty. It is definitely a dresser we would recommend to any of our family or friends.
Laurel 6 Drawer double dresser
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this Laurel 6-drawer dresser to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Overall, I've been really really happy with it. Once everything was put together, it looked very nice in the room and gave us a lot of extra storage space without taking up too much room. I loved the look and design of it. The style is simple but modern and it matched well with the rest of our furniture. I loved how the drawer pulls look, they give a very cool vibe, The drawers are spacious and hold more than I expected, which has been super helpful for organizing clothes and baby items. The assembly process honestly was not the easiest. It definitely took some time and patience, but in the end we made it, and once it was finished it felt sturdy and worth the effort. What I liked most about this dresser is how functional it is while still looking so nice. It helped keep everything organized, and the finished product looks much more expensive than I expected. Overall, I'm glad we stuck through the assembly because we've been enjoying it a lot since putting it together.
Built to Last
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shopping for dressers for a baby can be tough. Unless you find the matching set you can be in trouble. But this dresser is different! I received this dresser as part of the stellar product testing panel, and it has the ability to go with a wide spectrum of nursery furniture and themes. The dresser is a great mix of contemporary and traditional and can fit well into any space. It is also well constructed and built for the long haul. We have no doubts when putting a changing table on top that the dresser will be sturdy enough to hold our kiddo for a long time. Assembly was very straightforward. Took my spouse and I 90 minutes to built and the instructions referenced 60 minutes. When finished that amount of time seemed to be pretty par for the course compared to other furniture assemblies. The one stylistic choice we thought might end up polarizing is the handles. Semi-odd for the handles to be metal loops that are just bolted in. It's a choice that people may shy away from, however we enjoy its uniqueness. Overall this is a great looking piece that will be a staple in the nursery for years to come. Don't shy away from buying!
Modern and Sturdy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this dresser to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I could tell immediately it was built to last due to the heavy package on my doorstep! The simple video tutorial that gave me a visual and an idea of what to expect while building the dresser was also a nice touch. My stepdad and I did encounter a couple of minor hiccups during assembly, though they were largely user error on our part. The only significant issue we discovered was that 4 screws on the bottom were too loose. This is a potential safety hazard in a nursery, as loose screws could pose a choking risk to small children. Fortunately, this did not deter me as I was able to replace them with longer, more secure screws. Overall, I love the modern aesthetic that fits perfectly in my nursery and how it feels sturdy enough to grow with my child.
Beautifully crafted dresser
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off I love the aesthetic of the dresser. All the components came safely secured and labeled. My husband put it together for me and he said the instruction manual was very easy to follow. He also appreciated how you didn't need a power drill to put it together (all you need is a Phillips screwdriver and the included Allen key). The material feels really sturdy and well built. The only thing that my husband complained about was it was a bit difficult to tightened some of the screws at an angle. We also love how the dresser basically comes with built in baby proofing because of the curves. If I didn't already have a crib, I would've opted for the one in the same collection for a more cohesive look. Thank you to Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this dresser!
Stylish and Practical Nursery Dresser
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Little Seeds Laurel 6-Drawer Dresser in White/Acorn through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and honestly I really ended up loving it. My overall first impression was that it looked way nicer in person than I expected. The white and acorn colors together are really pretty and gave our nursery such a soft, cozy feel without looking to plain. What I love most about the dresser is definitely the design. I love the stylish handles and curved details. The dresser is very modern and it doesn't have an overly baby furniture look. I also really like how versatile it is, it doesn't just feel like nursery furniture, and so I could easily see it being used for toddler furniture, a guest room, or even as just regular furniture in our house later down the line. The drawers are also super roomy, which has helped so much with organizing my baby's clothes, blankets, and random baby items that seem to pile up everywhere. My only complaint is that I wish it had soft close drawers. Assembly definitely took a while, but the instructions were pretty straightforward. Some parts were heavy, so having my spouse help was definitely needed. Once it was finished though, it felt sturdy and looked really beautiful in the room, so it was worth the time putting it together. Overall, I'm very happy with the dresser and I think it makes a great addition to our house!
Gets the Job Done
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited to receive this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I've put together a ton of furniture and felt pretty confident. I took all the pieces out of the box and was happy to see how organized the pieces were. The instructions were clearer than most and I was able to fall along. However, there were a few pretty big frustrating things. First, the bolts used to secure the actual dresser structure together were unbelievably difficult to use. I've seen much better technologies that are more user friendly. Once I got the hang of it, it went a bit faster but it was still really challenging. There were also 3 sets of pieces (2 each) that were UNLABELED, virtually identically, but did have to be put in a specific spot. I had to guess for each set, guessed wrong, and had to rebuild a portion. Everything else was easily labeled and identifiable. The instructions said it would take 1 hour. I did it in 2 hours with 3 others helping me. Once it was built, I felt like the aesthetic was okay. I typically like to change out the pulls on furniture like this to match whatever vibe I want in the room. The pulls are SO strange. I've never seen anything like them. I'd have preferred them to be a standard shape or size. I don't think you'd be able to swap them out, so plan to keep them. I also personally didn't love the way the two tone was used in this dresser. I'd prefer the top to be darker or the pulls to match the wood at the bottom. It was okay, not bad but not great. Overall, the dresser gets the job done. Even though it's not solid wood, it seems very sturdy and is a good size. The construction wasn't challenging and the color would match with a lot of different styles. The drawer count and depth are also good. I'd recommend this product to someone that is looking for a sturdy, neutral piece of furniture for a bedroom, nursery, etc.
