Easy Open Sides PLEASE!!!!!

I love Pampers Easy Ups but they would get a five star rating if they had easy open sides! They have great absorbency, makes toilet training a little easier and have a great design as far as fit is concerned, but this would be a much better product if they had easy open side to make changing baby/toddler a breeze!!!

Not Necessary

I have not used these for my son. But as a teacher in the 2 year old class at a preschool, I have helped to potty train dozens of children. I did not see any advantage to potty training for the kids whose parents bought these (or any) training pants compared to the parents who just went from diapers straight to underwear. If you have the extra money, maybe it will work for your child. But these are harder to change than a diaper for bowel movements, so I personally plan to use regular diapers until my son is consistently using the toilet and then switching straight to underwear (I sometimes see children delaying potty training because being wet or dirty in a pair of training pants is not as uncomfortable as being soiled in a pair of undies)

Son Loved Them

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son wore these to assist with potty training and transition to underwear. Since he was use to pulling these up and down, it made the underwear transition so much easier. My only complaint is the bunching that would happen when he slept in them which led to more leaks and washing sheets. But I could never find a product that did not bunch on my son. So this really was the best.

Such a help

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pampers easy ups are my new go to for potty training age. I used to buy pull ups, but pampers are much more soft and they tear away at the sides just as well as the pull ups. My son loves the choo choo on them :)

Okay

I like these, they are soft, absorb a decent amount and are a good overall quality. However they are difficult to change. I bought these for my almost 3 year old daughter (She likes Thomas more than she likes Dora). So the fact that the sides don't open and can be resealed forces me to remove her pants and shoes while changing. For me personally, this is why I wouldn't recommend them. But if this isn't an issue for you then I say yes give them a try.

Thank you for sharing such detailed feedback Plara03. This is the kind of information that is really helpful to us. To give you a little background on our sides and why they can't be resealed-we wanted to make them like underwear for that potty training experience so to make it more "real" for your little one. I hear what you are saying though and will definitely share this with our development team.

Not very absorbent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always used Pampers brand diapers when my son was a baby. He began potty training and my mother in law loaded us up with a bunch of Huggies pull ups. We went through all of them and decided to buy my usual brand Pampers easy ups this time. I am not satisfied at all with their absorbency. My son wakes up with wet clothes and wet bedding. I really like the waistband and fit on him versus the other brand, just not their lack of absorbency.

Great training pants

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves his Easy Ups! He is a big fan of Thomas & Friends so he loves the designs on them. They are easy to use. They have the pleasant Pampers smell that helps mask wet diapers (unlike other brands). I do wish they had velcro closures but overall Easy Ups are the best training pants out there.

great for toddlers

These pull-ups are very easy to use. The stretchy sides are wonderful and I feel that they are just as absorbent as the pampers cruisers. Unfortunately I have a 3 1/2 year old that still doesn't use the potty, even when wearing these pull-ups so I can't say they've helped us with that.

Love the fit!

These fit and stay up better than other training pants. My son LOVES the Diego design and insists on them for that reason. They are very soft and cloth-like, they even hold up for overnight wear, they are very absorbent. Where we buy them they are cheaper than the other premium brands which makes them even better.

Nothing Better than Pampers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son was just recently potty trained at the age of 3. I wanted to wait until he was VERY ready and fully understood and could communicate with me when he needed to go. Pampers Easy Ups helped ease the transition between naked and underwear, especially when we needed to go out and about. They seem easy for my son to move in and he can easily pull them up and down (I went a size up to help with that). I love the easy tear sides when he does have accidents! Worth the extra price!
