Well, if you love soup and need a sweet treat, then this is the soup for you. A cup with provide you with a full belly and you will not need a sweet snack afterwards. The flavor is amazing and you will not be disappointed if you are a soup fan that loves trying different kinds of soup.

This soup has a thick, hearty consistency and a great balance of flavors. The maple adds a touch of sweetness that pairs nicely with the rich, squash flavor, while the chipotle brings just a little heat to balance it all out. The combination gives it a slightly sweet and smoky flavor without being overpowering. If you would pair it with some toasted nuts to top it off or maybe some chives or green onions, it would be amazing. Overall, a great option for anyone who enjoys a little sweetness with a hint of spice. 

I was a little bit leery about this flavor combination but I'm SO glad I tried it! I loved it!! It was such an incredible fall flavor type of soup. It felt like eating all the best qualities of fall. With a bit of spice which was a wonderful touch! I would highly recommend it! It has the perfect thickness kind of like a chowder and is an insanely easy family meal.

Let me start off by saying that products like these can be quite difficult to judge because taste is very subjective. My impression on this would be four and a half stars if there was an option. My deduction for half a star is that it is just a little too thick. That can easily be fixed! I just added a little bit of water to it and reduce to consistency. Again, that's very subjective, but that's what work for me. Let's move forward and talk about taste. I have never eaten squash soup so this was extremely new for me. I could definitely taste the sweetness on the tip of my tongue and then the after bite of the Chipotle. I think the combination works well. This is definitely a fall and winter soup. Especially, when it's cold outside. Soup for me is more of a fall and winter thing. I will eat soup during the spring and summer, but my tendency is to make soup during the colder seasons. My husband also liked it and he gave it a four out of five. This is probably something that mature folks would enjoy more. I don't think it's something that kids would enjoy. This doesn't mean I wouldn't try it to see if my hands like it. Overall, it's packaged well. They could make the top cellophane that seals it a little easier to remove, but my guess is they don't want it to pop off during storage. Just get a little knife to help you pull the plastic off of it. Definitely store it in a refrigerator. It has a shelf life of about 2 months. The way this tastes, I don't expect it to stay in the fridge long. It is a little confusing regarding the calories. Just know that each plastic container has three 8 oz. servings in it and the package of two has a total of six servings.

The Maple Chipotle Squash soup is a unique take on a classic favorite. The thick, creamy texture and bright color looks as appetizing as it tastes. The flavor profile is a new combination of the natural squash sweetness and smoky, chipotle kick! Just enough spice for that cool fall evening. It's comforting, and flavorful. Definitely would buy again!

Too spicy+ bring back the original autumn squash soup that is the best Ive ever tasted

Disappointing. The squash soup was one of the few reasons I've kept my membership. Why do you guys drop all of the good items? This was the best comfort food out there. It would get me through the long dark days from the time change to February. Why ruin it by adding chipolte? Absolutely disgusting. Bring back the original.

I never write a bad review but this time I had to. What happened? No squash taste. Yuk. We wait for the Autumn Harvest soup and so we tried this one. Thank heavens I didn’t buy several packages. Bad substitute. Even the chipotle tastes ‘out of date.’ We ended up throwing what was in our bowls away.

Let me start with 2 facts. 1. I love spicey food. 2. I loved Sam's squash soup so much I would stock up on it at the end of the squash soup season and freeze it! I was so happy to see it on the shelf in August even with Chipotle and Maple seasoning. I was so disappointed when I tasted it!!! The new spices overpower the soup so much you can't tell it is squash soup. If I did a blind taste test I would not be able to tell if it is squash or potato soup because the spices are so strong. Please I am not saying it is hot, it isn't, what I am saying is there is too much spice and it overpowers the soup. I am not going to buy it again.

I was looking forward to the return of the squash soup they’ve had previous years. Not a fan. This one has a strong chipotle flavor. I don’t like spicy things. I would say this one isn’t too spicy, but it’s right at my line of being too spicy. If you often find things too spicy, this will probably be too spicy for you. I really hope they bring the other one back!!
