[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had already purchased a pergola from this company and loved it and my husband was already talking about building a grilling station/area on our patio area with covered roof and this product was the perfect solution! It looks amazing.

We bought this over the summer and built it after the concrete slab was poured. Super quality. We are 68 and 75 and only needed help lifting the roof on. We sealed all the wood before construction and plan to reseal every year. I would not hesitate to buy - what a great addition to our home.

This is a great item. Came in two boxes with almost no need for any non eco friendly styrofoam because the packaging was so well designed. Carried through to assembly with excellent directions and all the parts marked. Only negative was the plastic protective film on the roof pieces that was almost impossible to remove. I ended up leaving it on. I also added some lattice to it in back since I had it on an elevated deck to be safe. But really love the look and function of this and highly recommend it.

My husband and I assembled it ourselves over a few days, and the instructions were clear, making the process straightforward. We love the cedar and metal stylings and the Saxony XL is ample enough to accommodate our Kamado Joe smoker plus our Napoleon Phantom grill. We opted for the professional installation from Backyard Discovery, which was totally awesome. Within a few hours we were able to enjoy this new addition to our home’s entertainment area. We added shatterproof Edison bulbs to the gazebo adding a fun party vibe. Truly, we could not be more pleased. Well done Backyard Discovery. This is an A+ for us.

Purchased this a little over a month ago to create a backyard poolside bar. Quick delivery, easy assembly, beautiful finished product! We did add the horizontal cedar slats across the back to define the space and have a place to hang items to give the space character. Love!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this gazebo because I wanted to get some cover for our back patio without needing permits and without the expense of having a contractor come out and build something permanent. When our friends come over, all I get are positive reviews and "hey give me the website where you bought this". It is really a great option. We added a gutter on the down sloped end to handle the rain runoff which help keep things dry. My only hope is that they will make an add on section to this kit. We would like it to be 30 feet long to cover our whole patio. If they come out with that, I'll be the first to buy it. I don't think we will be looking to do a permanent patio cover any time soon. It was easy to build. I put it together in about three days by myself. The only help I needed was to join sections together. My wife and son helped me with that part. Read the instructions slowly and carefully. They can be somewhat difficult to understand. Just follow the pictures and go slowly. Once you know how a section goes together, other sections go really fast.

Nice-sized grill gazebo for our new grill and small smoker. Assembly was relatively straight-forward with 2 people, and took most of the day. They did a great job putting this kit together so the pieces fit and made assembly easy. We did put a clear polyurethane on all the cedar pieces before assembling, to preserve the color and make it last longer... if there is a stain on it, you can't tell as the wood is very thirsty for more. Very pleased with the hardware, and the fact it came with a couple spares. The roof is okay... I wish it extended out further on the sides to protect the counters/tables, further out the back, and wish it had a greater slope for shedding rain and snow. We may eventually end up altering the roof ourselves. Overall, I'm happy with it. It looks great on our patio and will be very usable in nice weather.

So happy with the grill gazebo! My husband added motion lights and even a gutter on it to make it perfect for our yard! He even added lights pointing down at the grill so I can cook at night! The gazebo is perfect to house our grill, and I am looking forward to being able to cook outside for our friends and family! Thank you so much for this gazebo, it is the perfect size! I looked everywhere for one that worked and was thrilled when I finally found this one!
