We really love this Bluetooth speaker. It has great volume and is very easy to connect to your phone. You have to download the app to connect it. It is heavy duty and we have had no problems with it so far. Only thing is it is heavy to carry around, but that is why it is heavy duty. It has cool lights on it as well.

ION Hype XL Bluetooth Speaker with Lights is a fantastic product to add to your electronic inventory. With weighing just slightly less than 15 lbs it brings heft and durability to the party. Charging was a breeze. The app is a very user friendly and was ready to go very quickly. The clarity and performance are amazing both at low volume and high. No distortion of sound inside or outside. With the added benefit of lights that can remain solid, cycle, or flash to the beat of the music. It's both audio and visual fun! Both manual and app adjustments (will take up to two devices) make it easy to change the mood easily. This speaker brings the fun!

First off, this speaker was bigger than I thought it would be. Really hefty too. It has good weight to it. After charging it up (which may take a bit depending on your charger) it was easy to set up and get it paired. The sound is really good and can get very loud. It’s really good if you enjoy base. The controls on the top are simple for play/pause and changing volume. I like that it has an app too that you can use to change the lights that come on the sides of the speaker.

This speaker is great! The sound quality is amazing from the bass to the clarity. Its not to big is perfect for a beach day or outing at the park. The flat feet on the bottom helps ot remain stable wherever you sit it. It was super easy to pair and the fact I can pair it with more than one device is a plus. It also allows you to control the music straight from the speaker. The lights on the side pulse to the music. I love it! 10/10

The speaker really lives up to all the "Hype"! We have been generally blown away by the how the speaker works. It has an incredible volume range, and the bass and sound quality are pretty impeccable. It was super easy to connect to it via Bluetooth and we love that other people could connect to it easily as well. It was very easy to carry around the pool and made a great addition to a pool party especially as it got darker to where we could light it up. This is a must have for any of your outdoor musical needs!

Making phone calls from the speaker was also possible  The sound quality is good.It has multiple inputs that you can use to play multiple media types through.Charging is easy.It is fairly lightweight for as big as it is. The lights themselves are inside the speaker and aren't displayed very well. Easy to connect to iPhone and WiFi. Sounds good. Can control through app or direct on speaker. Nice handle to move it around. Size reminds me of a small boombox. Sturdy, solid well built.

Wow! This Bluetooth speaker is fantastic! Bigger and heavier than I expected, i like the gripped feet. Easy to connect and use right away. I did give it the full charge it recommended. I also downloaded the app where you can adjust the lights, the bass, and the equalizer. You can have the lights solid and choose the color you want. Or you can have them change, and also have them syncing with the beat! The bass is pretty good. You can also answer calls with this speaker. The sound is incredible. I have other good speakers, and this is better. I definitely recommend this speaker.

The ION Hype XL Bluetooth speaker is a great speaker. It pairs easily to both Apple and Android and sounds amazing. It is a little heavy but not to bad. I love the color feature and if you download the app you can customize different scenes. It also accepts calls from the paired phone. You can toggle between 2 different paired phones as well to play different music.

This is not your typical little Bluetooth speaker with brassy sounds & the range of Milli Vanilli. It is a beast! Great range, good bass & mid without being over the top. Can’t wait to take it out to the lake & blast Johnny Cash or something else that will annoy the local rap gods. Structurally it seems very sturdy without being overly heavy. The handle annoys the crap out of me since it is offset (see photos) & fixed causing me to dump it on its face every time I set it down. Setup is easy & love that it is rechargeable but will play while charging.
