The reason for 4 stars is because they are meant for low to medium heat so it's difficult to get a good sear on those temps.

I wish I was able to use spray oils on it for convenience sake but otherwise, I use it like any of my other pans!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the 10 pc Twilight Reserve set and I have to say that the pieces are very sturdy, safe to cook on ( no PFAs or PFOA - one of the features that attracted me) and so pretty. The navy blue with the gold handles and white inside looks very chic. I absolutely love the clear lids that let me see exactly what is going on. As soon as you pick one up, you can feel how sturdy and well made they are. Handles do not get hot so no hand burns. Minimal butter/oil is needed and the non-stick is fantastic. Nothing sticks! The real test, for me, is eggs and they didn't stick at all! According to the pictures indicated on the bottom of each piece, they are compatible with gas, electric, ceramic halogen and radiant cookers though this particular set is not compatible with induction ( not the same as the last 2 mentioned previously). Clean up has been so easy- just a sponge, dish soap and hot water. No scrubbing. The white interior is really nice and hasn't discolored. It not only contrasts with the navy blue outside color but it seems to make the food look better, especially if I'm serving the food from the pan/pot. The booklet that comes with it suggests cooking at a lower heat than usual and that works out well. The cooking is more even with less chance of burning. Overall a very well constructed, highly functional, quality cookware set.

We haven't had the pans long enough to say the non-stick lasts any longer than Teflon coated pans. They are advertised as ceramic coated, very durable. However, the instructions indicate you should never heat the pan higher than medium temperature, and should only use a soft non-abrasive sponge for cleaning and never use cooking sprays. More restrictions than I would have expected.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this for dinner tonight. We had chicken breast and I added a little olive oil and seasoning to my chicken and a little oil to the pan. This pan did not stick at all. Not even a little. It washed effortlessly with just soap water and a soft sponge. The lid helped the chicken cook evenly and I only flipped it once and it was delicious. Definitely my new go to pan and I HIGHLY recommend this!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll start off by saying this is a beautiful elegant looking pan I made pan fried salmon and diced sweet potatoes for dinner I used the pan too cook them both the handles are sturdy there is a long handle on one side and a pull type handle on the other the long handle stayed cool to the touch for easy handing but the shorter handle was too hot to touch with out a pot holder I just used a small amount of olive oil and it glided smoothly all over the pan the heat distribution seemed even i was able to have the whole dinner done in under 20 min there was some burnt areas that looks like they would stick but the clean up was easy i just wiped clean with a paper towel and rinsed with warm soapy water i I feel like it would scrap easily so i don't plan on using any abrasives on it ! for first time use I think it's a great pan but time will tell

Now it's performance is top notch, cooked evenly and nothing and I mean nothing stuck to it at all! It is also super easy to clean (because nothing sticks to it) That's a win win in my book and this has quickly become the pan I reach for just about everyday. I will note that it is on the heavier side so if you are looking for a super lightweight pan this one probably isn't for you, but that wasn't a concern for me.
