Purchased on 3/5/26 for $899. Laptop is as advertised. Dual channel 16gb memory (8 8). In the current market a decent 5050 laptop will run you about $750 - $850, so finding a 5060 right at $900 is a great deal. Similarly spec'd laptops are still hovering around $1100 - $1300, so I'm happy with my decision. The screen maxes out at 1080p, so you're able to play most triple A games at high to ultra settings. I also upgraded my ram to 32gb (had extra from last year)... so that really helped with the FPS. Regardless, if you can get it on sale, I'd def recommend.

I like how the cooling fan noise level is not too loud. The key board has a nice back light and is very comfortable to use. The speaker level is good for a laptop. the laptop charges fast and is lightweight but feels nice and is sturdy. I would recommend this laptop to any entry and mid-level gamer.

I use this laptop daily! The one thing that I would suggest, is getting a laptop fan, that’s without question. Beautiful device, fast and great battery life.

This laptop works with excellent position and has a high-quality screen. The battery is also very long lasting and was able to do a lot of high production work on this.

The keyboard is really cool. It has some kind of light, it's definitely for gamers but overall, I think it's too pricey for a 500 GB computer even with some cool customization.

Note: this laptop is not for everyone. Im the husband who purchased it through my wifes acound on walmart with a 301$ discount. Coming from a pc I had few years ago - R7 5700 with a 3090Ti pc fully decked out custom water cooled pc with bent tubs. Coming to this I understood the limitations and short comings, but thats ok due to the fact of the price and what your getting. Portability, power, comfort, reliability. Downside was noise, 1080p, and the look - witch has grown on me. It has ONE fan to cool the system so expect noise and alot of it. Its AI system works fantastic at keeping things running smooth and cool with the performance up. PLEASE DO THIS WHEN YOU GET IT OR YOU'LL REGRET IT!! "UPDATE THE BIOS". Almost had a heart attack the other day sense the system stop reading the GPU, but that was due to windows and the bios integration when I looked it up. Gaming is great like Arc Raiders and BF6. It has a 5060 with 16gb of ram, the cpu is health too so yea. Just wear headphone cause of the laptop cooling fan. To wrap it up, you will like it for the price, feels good, light, health, fast, just keep it updated and take care it and it will take care of you.

I really like this product. You definitely have to update it a lot before you start using it, but the gaming experience is amazing.

Pretty Decent Gaming Laptop, Can run most games on high settings pretty good. I recommend buying a cooling stand because it only has one fan and can get hot.

A mean I bought it for gaming also for college if you want to buy for gaming don’t buy it it’s kinda slow

Bought for my son’s schoolwork. It failed at 30 days. Power supply charger designed incorrectly at the factory so it failed producing power. I’m an experienced electronic expert so I used my $400 Fluke multimeter to determine that the power adapter is dead. It is day 37. I contact MSI for what should have easily been a “ I’m sorry, sir about the faulty power adapter were rushing another one out to you today” phone call that I should’ve received. Instead, their process is a RMA warranty on parts 3 to 14 days so I must send in my power adapter for evaluation, then they send me another if it is dead. Other option for faster service to get my son back to school work was to purchase a new power adapter for $48. MSI has a HORRIBLE process. This is a minor issue with a power adapter, should have been immediately resolved with a power supply replacement; instead I am looking at a month in delays. Do not buy MSI laptops.
