These are easy to use and I appreciate how small they are. This new version also has a child shield to protect children from hazards.

Comes in a pack of 2 - just pop it in wherever you need it! I don't have kids, but it does have an interesting child shield feature (protects throat burns if swallowed & turns mouth blue) that I can see being very beneficial.

Just to open the battery you need scissors, limiting access to children. They also have a bitter to taste to deter a child from swallowing them if they get it in their mouth. Each battery is covered in plastic on both sides and you need scissors to open it. I feel safer having this in my house, so kids won't swallow a battery and get internal burns. The size is perfect for my car keys. It was convenient to use because my battery just died in my keys and it was a perfect replacement.

The packaging build quality is strong enough to be difficult to open for child safety, but can be opened with the use of scissors or a pocket knife. These also have a sour coating to help prevent children from putting in mouth (yes I tasted out of curiosity, super sour). I usually buy a couple packages to have on hand when my trackers or key fobs need a replacement, they store very well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everyone needs a pack of these batteries on hand. They fit into so many different household items including our vehicle key fobs. The fact that the packaging is difficult to open, there is a bitter coating on the batteries, and it leaves a blue residue on the tongue if it touches saliva are all really intelligent features to prevent children from getting ahold of these batteries and ingesting them. Very cool!
