Bought this because I am in Florida and depend on a well for water. This is powerfull enough to provide us AC, lights and running water during power loss which is common during hurricanes. I will never have to go without water again. Easy set up and remote start is a bonus.

This is my second iGen purchase because I am so happy with the previous iGen2200 generator I purchased before Hurricane Ian. During that storm we ran the iGen2200 for 6 days straight without any problem. We have used our iGen2200 again during Hurricane Idalia and most recently again during Hurricane Milton. We are so happy with our Westinghouse iGen2200 that we decided to purchase a second (and slightly larger) iGen2800. Living in southwest Florida we have frequent hurricanes which can leave us without power for days. With either the iGen2200 or with our new iGen2800 genset we have backup power to run our refrigerator, a 10,000 but window AC, and power for our electronic devices. The iGen series are reliable, easy to start, and best of all very fuel efficient. We only need to keep 20 gallons of gas to assure we can run everything for two weeks if needed. We appreciate the value and reliability of the iGen series generators. Thank you.

We ordered this after a MAJOR ice storm in Northern Michigan. Arrived promptly. Have had it for two months and just started it up today due to another outage. Hooked up propane and plugged into my exterior feed port. My wife just got out of the shower and commented that she loves the sound of the generator. LOL Showers and laundry were not an option during the ice storm. This thing is running the entire house including our well pump which is the problem I had with my old generator, not enough output to run the 220 pump. I would highly recommend at this point.

I have been using this Westinghouse Gen. for about a month now without a problem at all barn with no power ! Now I can water up straight from the well and the lighting ! It has been the best thing I have ever done for this barn and livestock ! Happy Homesteader

I purchased this a week ago during a terrible storm. Our power went out (for 2 days) and we had a freezer full of freshly bought meat and fish. To save the food I went and bought this generator and it saved my freezer full of food and more. You never know when you might need a generator. Hoping to never need it in the future, but we have just in case!

I was looking for a good, reliable generator for months. This one does it all. Big enough to power everything I need and small enough to save in fuel and transport. Plus the remote start system, plus it's dual fuel. Only improvement would be an app to know the gas/propane levels.

I live in a rural area so when the power lines are damaged it may take a few days to be repaired. I bought this to run my furnace in the winter and appliances, refrigerator & freezer, in the summer. It was easy to commision and use. I will operate it periodically to power my woodshop just to exercise it. I purchased the dual fuel model so that I have options depending on what I have. The propane operation is satisfactory. So far, I am very satisfied.

I just bought this in January and i really wish i had bought this so much sooner! last year we had a bad storm hit us and we were without power for 5 days and this would have really came in handy at the time and helped so much! so if you dont have an emergency back up i would look into this product! so glad i got this!

The instructions are easy to follow and this is a really nice and powerful unit. After being without power last year for Hurricane for 5 days in hottest time of the year we knew this was a great investment. We also use it when we go tailgating. We are happy with this purchase for sure!

Living in Florida we needed a generator to run all that we have, plus tired of the LOUD ones. Got this one and it is awesome! So glad hubby purchased it. Praying we want have to use it though. LOL. But It started right up and Hubby was supper excited about the tools, oil and funnel that was with it.
