Just received my new generator. It was very well packaged. General inspection shows everything looks in good shape. I did not yet start the generator. I got prompted to do review during registeration to recieve free cover so completing it. I will update review when I start and do more testing.

We bought this inverter generator a few days ago and are very glad to prepare for its use. The product came well-packaged with easy to understand instructions. This generator has been well recommended by our electrician. We're in the process of procuring the necessary extension cord and accessories and test it in the next few days.

Preparing for the 2025 hurricane season in Florida. I have 4 other generators that are smaller and one large PTO generator that attaches to my tractor to run the farm operation when the hurricanes blow through. I wanted something for the whole house so I wouldn't have to deal with all the cords and moving things around to keep all the refrigerators going. I also wanted an inverter that provides clean power as the other generators have not been so kind to sensitive electronic equipment. So I installed an interlock on my house panel and bought this Westinghouse inverter and so far I'm very impressed. The build quality looks great and they supplied all the tools to put the wheels, supports and handle. Ten minutes and done. Later this week Ill break it in and give it a test run on the house panel.

Running off house propane. Tested to 7+KW no problem. Had to move the large regulator from supplied propane tank hose to the house gas connection. User manual a bit confusing for Data Center display. I don't see frequency as an option. My DVM showed 60hz solid at full power with only a slight drop in voltage (244VAC no load to 238VAC full load).

I bought this to have a backup for when our power goes out which happens often. It is amazingly quiet and easy to run. Silly to say but I'm looking forward to our power going out so I can smile and know that I won't have to worry about losing food or getting cold!

This is my first generator and was surprised by how simple and easy it was to set it up and get it running. Instructions were easy to follow, connected propane tank and cranked it up. I ran it for about 30 mins, with a space heater, no problems. Next I plan to run it on gasoline and test the fuel switch over. It is a rather heavy piece, so if you are looking for something more portable, this is not it

This high output portable generator/inverter was just what I needed to set up a whole house backup power system for a 100 amp service panel with an automatic transfer switch. The total cost was one third the quoted price of a big name whole house system. The big name system also required an expensive service contract to validate their extended warranty coverage. The iGen came delivered on a pallet in a very sturdy box with absolutely no damage. The unpacking and setup documentation was first rate and very accurately matched the unit which made it easy to follow. Everything you need for setup is included, the hardware was of very good quality, and even the wrenches and oil were included. After adding fuel, the unit started and ran with no issues. All displays and switches worked flawlessly and were easy to understand. The unit is quieter with a light load than I suspected it would be, which is a pleasant surprise. Thank you Westinghouse for building a quality product.

Received on time, packaging was very secure. Assembly very easy. I was very pleased with the overall design and function of generator. Started easily, Haven't finished break in period yet but so far so good. very quiet for generator of this size.

I recent purchased this generator to prepare for hurricane season here in Florida. The dual fuel is a most when the gas stations run dry almost immediately. I purchased several propane tanks for the inevitable fuel shortage and LPG lasts almost forever. This inverter generator is significantly more quiet then my old generator and sends to be slight more fuel efficient so far. I can't speak for it its longevity as I have not had it long or stressed it yet.

I was looking for a quality brand generator that'll run my whole house, including the air conditioner and well pump. I didn't want a “whole-house” built in unit that I wouldnt be able to take with me if we moved to a different home again. So far the Westinghouse iGen11000DFc is up to the task. The key features I was looking for included: will run on at least dual fuel, 50amp hookup, and parallel capabilities. The Westinghouse had all of these. The unit is very heavy but was easy to set up and get running. I haven't had a power outage yet to run the unit for extended hours but it has run flawless during all my testing and has powered everything Ive asked of it. Because of the inverter, I no longer have issues running my built in microwave which would error-out using my older/smaller generator. I'm confident I'll be ready if the power does go out. The only feature I wish this unit had would be the tri-fuel option, that would be awesome. So far this generator has been great!
