This generator is the best out of 3 I have owned in my life . The duel fuel is such a bonus with out a doubt . Its easy to run and use as well as the small room it takes up for all it does. I did a lot of research and for the price it does the same as other generators do far a much greater price. Not to mention Westinghouse has been around since 1886 .

Super easy to assemble and get the unit up and running. I've already had the unit running for 6-7 and working great. The electric start works every time and having the remote super great. After looking at several other units I decided on this one and I'm glad I did.

I bought the unit for back-up power in the event of a power outage. I have set it up, added oil, and ran for the break-in period. I had an electrician add an female inlet plug, a 50 amp breaker and a generator interlock. So far, so good. I have had no problems as yet.

We bought this generator to charge the battery system in our house as we live off the grid. It took care of the job in a timely manner, taking only 2 hours to fill our batteries from 63% to 100%. The Honda generator we had took 3 hours to fill the batteries. We bought a Westinghouse because we borrowed an old beat-up generator to tide us over, and it was a Westinghouse, still going strong after 15 years.

I bought my Westinghouse generator two weeks ago and had it set up as my home backup power. I performed a test run of the generator after getting everything installed and it worked out great. I would recommend a Westinghouse generator to anyone looking for a home backup power solution.

This is for the 11000DFc. Bought this to use as a whole home backup. It does not disappoint. It will run everything in my home. Obviously need to be selective on running the 240 amp appliances. My central HVAC has a variable speed motor so its an easy start. In what i would think would be a long outage i would put a window unit in my master bedroom and not us the central hvac. The generator is a bonded neutral so you might want to convert it to a floating neutral if hooking to your home through an inlet. It's easy to do.

while it has not been put in use as yet for power failure it is of high quality. It was easy to assemble though I little heavy for me (I am nearly 70) once together it rolls easy. Access to the oil stick was easy and with the included funnel it was no problem filling with the oil. Oil is provided however since it can get quite cold here in Wis I chose to put 5w-30 instead since our temps can get well below zero in winter months and chart recommended that for lower temps. I am having a transfer switch installed to power up my well pump and a few other circuits which this generator should have no problem with its rated 11000 watts. Most household appliances run on gas and do not care to power up AC so this unit will perform great.

I got this to replace a 17kw non-inverter generator that just uses too much fuel and when I need it, fuel is scarce...storm outage. I am very impressed with everything I've seen so far. It comes very well packaged and with everything needed to do the minor assembly required...and not cheap stamped wrenches, but solid tools. Excellent manual in real english! Started right up and performed perfectly. I can't comment on fuel consumption as we have not had a need so far this hurricane season. I hope we don't. Overall looks like excellent design and quality control. I'm very pleased.

All you have to do is attach 2 wheels, 2 rubber blocks for feet and handle which takes 5 minutes. Add the oil which comes with the generator, connect battery and add gas or propane. This generator starts easy and ready to use. It's powerful enough for all your needs including powering your home. This was a great purchase.

This generator runs smoothly and quietly. It was very easy to assemble with two people and the push-button start with autochoke is awesome. The 10w/30 oil that came with it is not rated for cold climate and must be replaced with 5w/30. The engine is large so pull-starting was far from easy, but a strong adult can do it. The battery is undersized, so be prepared to find an outlet nearby to charge the battery so you can use the electric start. If the battery is charged, this generator fires up immediately and starts producing very good power. Enough power to run all of our appliances, including our well pump, and charge our large 48v battery bank. Very happy with this Inverter Generator!
