We bought this for peace of mind, in our area the number of power outages has increased over the last 5 years. The set up was easy, we purchased the version that can use Gas or Propane which is great option to have in an emergency. The power load is sufficient to run the whole home. So far, we are very happy with our purchase.

This is my 4th Westinghouse generator. Had a minor problem with the first and was fixed under warranty very quickly. Never had another problem. Bought a pair of iGen5000 so that I could parallel them on my RV and worked wonderfully. Purchased the iGen 11000TFc for home backup. Have not had a chance to fire it up yet as I have a lot of projects going on but I have full faith that this gen set will serve me well.

The generator was as advertised - quiet and reasonably easy to set up. Everything seemed to work well, though it's still in break-in so I haven't asked it for full power yet. My only point of confusion is why is it necessary to change the oil every time the gas tank is drained. Seems excessive for a back-up generator that runs twice a year and is stored with the fuel tank and carbuetor bowel empty.

Was looking at other, more expensive products, but several electricians suggested going with the Westinghouse as they see it as super durable and reliable at a significantly less price point. Still breaking in, but look forward to being able to use the gas and propane instead of gas and the noise levels far lower than expected for a unit this size.

Using this generator as a Home Backup. Pairing with a natural gas connection and Manual Interlock Connection. Works perfectly. Generator came well packaged. Very easy to assemble with all tools provided (Note: generator is very heavy - 200 lbs). Once wheels and handle on, very sturdy and easy to move around. Only using with propane/natural gas. Fired right up. Amazingly quiet.

Just purchased(on-sale) and received an iGen11000 Dual-Fuel inverter generator for my new home. Was generously given a free upgrade to the Tri-Fuel model. So.....I have yet to use this, but assembly and setup was a breeze. Instructions given are clear and concise. Reviews I found on the internet(prior to purchase)of this brand/product are ALL excellent. The only downfall I can find is it's weight. Extremely heavy! But this should be expected given the amount of power this thing will put out. Very solid construction and high quality.

I finally upgraded to an inverter generator. As the tag says "powerful"; I have enough wattage to run my 5-Ton A/C unit without a soft start, most kitchen appliances and sensitive electronics. Stealthy, my current open frame generator recorded 95.3 DB at 1 ft from the panel side and the Igen 11000DFc recorded 77.7 DB under the same conditions. At 23ft away at idle, my open frame generator recorded 76.4 DB from the exhaust side and the Igen 11000DFc under the same conditions recorded 65 DB. This is the best generator on the market for me because of the raw power and quietness.

No issues with the initial break in. Performed a trial run on the house with no issues. The only difficulty was locating the choke to adjust upon initial start up. The manual does not indicate the location of the choke. Once we found the choke and adjusted it, the generator started right away.

As a professional engineer (mechanical), I was impressed with the build quality. Westinghouse designed and built this to last, and they seem to have thought of everything, including a way to drain the float bowl, complete with drain tube! Although I have yet to start it and break it in, I have every expectation that the performance will match the build-quality. My only disappointment is that there is no oil filter, so I've ordered an after-market magnetic dipstick.

90% load scope shot of signal looks fantastic at around 7.3KW output. Very nice compact and quiet generator. Fast/easy setup and features. I will only give this a 4-star for now, because I have not seen how it performs over time or if it dies early.
