I bought this because I really wanted to try fuel capability. The rotary dial to select the fuel type is handy versus having to open the side of the machine and flip valves. Assembly was a piece of cake and only took a few minutes. I have not actually had to use it yet, but will post another review as soon as I do.

Purchased as a home back-up generator, while still allowing portability as opposed to a permanent install. The dual fuel feature is great, it can be connected to propane for long term storage, and use gasoline to supplement ahead of a storm. The included battery tender and remote start ensure it is ready and east to have on standby when appropriate. The info gauge is great, provides more info than I expected. It is incredibly quiet. And maintenance/oil changes seem easily accessible due to the built in drain tube and removable panels. Overall, very happy with this so far.

Easy setup. Necessary tools are kindly provided. Started up on first try. Great price for a quality product from Westinghouse. One issue. For home backup the neutral is bonded to the frame and must be changed to a floating neutral. This is not explained in the manual. There is a Service bulletin for the procedure, however, it should be in the manual. It's dangerous to connect 2 neutral bonded sources together.

We are pleased with our purchase. The generator is loaded with thoughtful features. We are especially happy it came with a battery charger we can leave plugged in since we live in a bitter cold northern climate. We haven't had to rely on the generator yet, but I feel confident in its build quality.

I love this unit so far. It is quiet, easy to start and fits my applications to a tee. It would be nice it they give more mounting options for securing it to something. In my case I am mounting it on top of a generator stand on my travel trailer. I either have to strap it down or fabricate some mounts to secure it while in transport.

This is my first Westinghouse Generator and the Inverter option is amazing. It's so quiet compared to the open frame gens and I was able to assemble in less than 15 mins. It also came with the remote start so I can start the Generator without going outside. My neighbors are even amazed at how quiet the unit is and asking for specifics on the gen.

Delivered in perfect condition. Very easy to assemble. Instructions are easy to follow. Fired up on first hit of the start button. Running on propane which was simple to hook up. Impressive low decibel noise. Quietest generator I have ever owned. And my wife and daughter says it “Looks Pretty “. A double win.

We bought this generator 3 months ago, it has been a champion for a few months now until yesterday it crank no started on us. Changed the oil, reseated the spark plug and still nothing. Have a claim open to hopefully get this resolved quickly as it's our main power source to charge our solar system in winter. Luckily we have the iGen5000df model as well as a smaller back up! Hopefully they can get us back up and running quickly!

I've had it for about 3 months now. It's done everything I need it to at a very quiet noise level. I can hold a conversation with someone standing right next to it at max decibel output. I have a food trailer and wasn't able to get into certain events because my last generator was so loud. I'm able to get into every event with a noise decibel restriction now.

Bought this generator to get ready for the ice storm; thank goodness we didn't lose electricity but still connected it to our RV to get it nice and warm inside. Super easy to start and even easier to pull from one place to another with the big wheels it has on it.
