I bought this to charge batteries for off grid house. GFCI trips when I plug in the house. I have just contacted them about a possible fix so it isn't fair to say they are slow in responding. I also haven't gotten to use the generator yet so that is the reason for the three stars. I just don't know yet.

I am a total novice with no real knowledge of how a generator works. As soon as I opened the box, it was evident how easy this unit was to operate. The only challenge was putting on the wheels, which really was not hard at all. This generator was a great choice.

Just received the generator. I am very impressed with build quality. Heavy duty metal and strong welds on cage. The hardware fit perfectly. All tools needed were included in the package. This product actually reminds me of the old school quality made back in the 60's with modern technology added. Looks like this will be a wise investment over the years to come.

Based on this generator's capacity (especially when using natural gas), features, quality, and price, I believe it's a Best in Class product. I am a qualified electrician, so I had no problem installing it in my own home, with a 50amp 12-circuit manual transfer switch. In my area, we suffer more than our fair share of power outages -- our electric utility company shuts down their grid (sometimes for many hours at a time) whenever the wind blows, so as to reduce the possibility of their power lines arcing and causing wildfires. I've had enough, and for me and my family this backup generator (connected to my home via the manual transfer switch) is IMHO the most cost-effective and practical solution (and I thoroughly evaluated a whole-home solar with batteries solution, as well as a permanently installed fully automatic whole home "standby" generator solution). Now, I won't go as far as to say that I'm looking forward to the next outage, but I am very confident that I'm very ready for it!

I bought this Westinghouse generator to replace and older 6500 watt purchased during Hurricane Irene. This model has all the bells and whistles. Love the electric start and remote control capabilities. The tri-fuel capabilities arealso a plus. I appreciate that westinghouse included all the parts and the propane and natural gas connections. The unit is well designed and aesthetically pleasing.

After extensive research I selected the Westinghouse Tri-Fuel Generator with the Smart Switch Ready technology. I expect it to be reliable - the features and operation are clear and appear to be a breeze to operate. Glad I made this purchase as a home backup power solution. I am now ready for the next storm that will inevitably knockout our grid power. Thank You Westinghouse for this particular versitile fuel portable generator.

This is my second Westinghouse Gen and I have had great experiences with this manufacturer. This one is larger in power output than my first one. Used it to power my 2000sf home with no problems. Just going to be moving to a larger home and need a little power output.

Just got my 14500/11500w Westinghouse generator. Installed wheels, feet and oil now ready to go. Unit starts well from local pushbutton or the remote key fob. It's a little louder than expected but the build quality looks good. Handle works well for mobility and fits through my 30" door. Very pleased so far.

I bought this generator on June how ever I was not able to test it until now, it started smooth, by pressing a button and/or pulling the handle it was so easy, i am in love! Lol i always have struggled with turning on the chainsaw or mower due to lack of strength to pull it. But with this it was super easy and doable for me! I cant wait to try the remote juju i only give 4 stars because I ordered the dual fuel generator and got the trifuel one...

Haven't experienced a power outage yet to see how well this generator runs but we did a test run and it worked great, including running the A/C. The person who delivered ours told us he has the same model and it worked great for him during the last few outages. I feel confident about it being able to handle the real thing.
