Saved us from Hurricane Beryl

Bought this generator a few weeks before Hurricane Beryl hit Houston. This generator is a beast. Powers a 2700sqft home with a 4ton AC unit no problem. I travel for work and have no hesitation knowing this will fire right up for my wife when I am gone. Pause the AC for an hour and we have no problem running the washer and dryer.

Just bought a Westinghouse Gen

Just bought a Westinghouse Tri Fuel generator. Have not had a chance to run the generator. Bought it on others reviews that it will be exactly what we need. Can't wait to try. Will leave another review on how it performs later but needed to get it registered.

Tri-fuel Powerhouse

Packaging was great - no missing parts. Wheels and feet are easy to install with the included wrenches. Propane connection with regulator included. Nat. Gas connection included. Also comes with an external battery tender/charger, which was a nice surprise. Purchased the tri-fuel model in case we get a repeat of Hurricane Helene and can't find one of the available fuel sources for days.

Set-up with ease

Just bought this Duel Fuel generator for a race trailer that has a generator compartment had to do just a little bit of changes to the slide out in the compartment and marked the setup for mounting and within an hour generator was running on propane as I really don't want to run off of gas so this was a plus for setup.

Great product

I bought this generator two months ago as backup power for my house. I was easily able to set it up and connect to a fuel source (natural gas). I feel much more prepared during the next power outage and confident that my family can use it as well due to the ease of start up especially the remote (fob) start.

Impress. Very few things to assemble. Crank quick

Bought this to get ready for the Hurricane season. I follow the instructions and got it started quickly. I still have to get an electrician to get my electrical box ready for the AC unit but at least I am ready to get my refrigerator running and a few fans in case of an emergency.

Great Features

Bought this to use as a temp power unit for our well while under construction and to help with charging our rv back up on low sun days. First hour everything works as should. Love the fact that we can run on multiple different types of fuel, the remote start feature and the multiple different plug ports.

Lots of Power

Product arrived by AAA Cooper Transportation trucking on time. Packaging was in great shape. Unpacked generator, added oil, gasoline, paired remote, connected quick connect battery. This generator is quiet beast. Built strong and I am in love with my purchase. My 2 neighbors are buying one now.

As Expected

The product has been running well for the first few days. Runs fine. Knocking a star since I expect a unit this size to have a power meter (the display only shows frequency and voltage). I have to install a separate power meter at my panel to know what my loads are. Also the specs online say the WGen11500 TFc has a THD of <5%, but the manual says it's <23%.

Home backup Generator Tri-fuel

I've just purchased a Westinghouse generator to backup my home during a power blackout. This is a tailor made solution which is not "Automatic" like some of the much more expensive 'whole-house' backup setups. The design is to backup our most essential power during extended power failures, such as may occur during severe storms in any season! The operation requires a many connection and startup which takes only a few minutes. It involves connecting a 50A power cable prepared by our professional electician and flipping one interlock switch. It also requires one to disable some of our breakers at the home panel such as to keep only the power flowing to a budgeted most essential devices. The total power budget on this model is around 8000 Watts on any of the three fuels : Gasoline, Propane or Natural Gas. So, one has to make a compromise to prevent overloading this generator. In our case, it will be adequate for all internal lighting, internet supply, refrigerators, gas heaters ignition, some occasional water pumps and not least our smaller A/C unit in part of our house where we would weather the power outage in complete safety and comfort. This has not yet been tested in a real blackout, but we have made provision to use our city natural gas supply as well as some propane bottles and/or gasoline portable reserves. With a bit of common sense and understanding, this arrangement should be adequate to weather most storms or long outages, while preserving the contents of our fridge and enduring extreme weather (hot or cold).in relative comfort and predictability.
