Bought my new Westinghouse Generator in early June and a few weeks later had the opportunity to put it to the test. Power failure due to afternoon Florida thunderstorm. Lost power and was glad I had the generator. Used the remote, unit came to life and provided the emergency power I needed. Unit was quiet and performed excellently!

Purchased a smaller Westinghouse generator about two years ago,(5300/6500) and it's been working very good. Starts easily first or second pull. Decided to purchase a larger unit so I could run the whole house including the electric water heater. Smaller generator would take care of house but not the heater. This unit also has the battery electric start which is nice to have.

I recently had the transfer switch installed in my garage and was pleased that my electrician told me how happy I went with Westinghouse vs. DuroMax. Lighter weight and the changing the oil alone is worth its weight in gold! Changing ever 50 hours for Westinghouse vs. 20 hours for DuroMax is amazing. I will not go without power again.

Great purchase. Must have for anyone who lives in an area where storms can knock out your power. Had and old 4,000watt since Super Storm Sandy. Did me well but we were in much need for an upgrade. Haven't had to use it for any storms yet but did a nice test run on my home and it ran flawlessly.

Will be using this generator for home backup. Ran it on Propane for the break in period with no issues. Getting Natural gas hookups and transfer switch installed very soon. No issues with this generator. Also getting Soft Start installed on my Central Air Unit.

I purchased the generator a few months ago but finally got around to setting it up. Easy to assemble also has all the attachments you'll need. Currently going through the break in period and seems pretty straight forwards. Will definitely be ready next time the power goes out due to a storm!

I bought this last month as an backup for my house for power outages. Worked with the local electrician to get a 50 AMP plug and a transfer switch wired in. So far, so good. The unit is large and heavy, but with the wheels, it is not so horrible to move. It is a bit loud but I am guessing it will settle down a bit after the break in period. Happy with my purchase.

I purchased this for winter time because every year we loose power at one time or another. Set up was simple. My son put in the oil and gas and installed the feet and wheels for me. Then it started up first try. I run it for the recommended 5 hours with a light plugged in. Worked beautifully. So happy with this purchase.

Bought this unit during a sale after many months of comparing other models. Being a firefighter I needed something that was easy for my wife to operate since most major storms I'm not home. This unit has it all! Easy to set up and assemble and also the greatest feature is the remote start fob. Haven't had to use it yet thankfully but when we do I have no worries that my family will be safe and have the comforts at home while I'm away!

I bought this generator after much research from being without power after Hurricane Beryl. I am very happy with the features and power of this thing. Currently using it on gas and propane, but plan to hook up a NG line to the back side of the house for extended outages. The main thing that drew me to this particular generator is the low THD and wattage for the price point.
