I have a soft start to help alleviate the power. After several power outages and storms in the last year I decided to get a newer larger generator, The Westinghouse was the best deal. It has all the features needed, runs smooth and starts easy. The remote control feature is great. This generator will be connected to my breaker panel and will power most everything I need to keep my family comfortable during any power outages, and still have some room left for my neighbors to use.

It was out of stock for a bit but I'm glad I was able to get one when I did. We couldn't justify spending the money on a whole home standby generator but this one was priced just right for us and our needs allowing us to run our AC, fridges and many devices we typically use. Love that it's tri-fuel so we can use natural gas and not worry about trying to get gas or propane during a storm. Thank god for the wheels because this thing is heavy. Be careful trying to lift out of the box. It's a great buy for something I hope we rarely have to use!

This thing is amazing. The tri-power is easy to select and starts right up with natural gas or propane. I have not tried gasoline because this is an emergency generator and I don't want gas sitting in the tank for extended periods. I am impressed with the design, everything I need for power is included. Very well thought out. and designed.

I Bought this after Helene hit my area in NC. Total devastation. We never want to be with out power again. We so all the great reviews. And with it being tri powered was great. This machine will power everything I need and then some. MY well, house ac refrig ect all at the same time.. plus will b able to hook up my rv and take it with us.

Bought this a few weeks ago to replace a smaller gas only Westinghouse generator. That generator has been a beast and I highly recommend these generators. We chose the 11500 to power the whole house and be able to run natural gas or propane rather than just gas. Assembled and broken in today and ready for whatever Mother Nature has in store.

My family and I are extremely happy with our Generator. We recently moved to Texas which holds uncertain weather conditions, but after careful research we deliberated to invest in the portable Westinghouse Generator. It was the most bang for your buck and greatest choice for us.

This is a well built generator and seems to have all the power that we need for our use as a backup power source in bad weather outages. The multi fuel will be nice to have a backup should we run short or can't get the primary gasoline. We will be using non-ethanol gas with propane as a backup.

I installed an interlock and a 50 amp breaker in my main panel wired to a 50 amp cord receptacle. Tested this generator recently and was able to run everything we will need to comfortably stay in our house during a power outage. I ran the generator on natural gas so I have not yet put a drop of gasoline in the tank. The generator started easily and ran consistently as I was testing various circuits. I was able to power lighting, ceiling fans, refrigerator, computers and internet devices, well pump and gas pack. I can now say with confidence that my family will be able to stay put and be comfortable in the house in the event of a power outage. When Hurricane Helene knocked our power out for 12 hours last year, we realized that we were unprepared. No power in our house means no water as we are on a well. This unit has given me confidence going into hurricane season.
