Lots of features but not enough to run my 5 ton a/

Overall the unit has tons of features and the 3 fuel options is definitely a plus. The only thing is I thought it would be enough power to run a 5 ton a/c unit but it looks like I'm going to have to purchase a soft start kit for the a/c unit. Hopefully that remedies the problem. Otherwise seems to be a great unit so far. Maybe a little on the loud side but that's to be expected.

Great Versatility.

This unit can run the whole house if need be. I live in an area prone to hurricanes and power outages and now I have some peace of mind. Every electrician I talked to recommended this unit. It can take 3 kinds of fuel, and has enough power to keep us going. Glad I made the purchase.

Great Generator

I live in Florida and bought this as an upgrade to my old generator ahead of Hurricane season. So far it is a top performer in all categories. It is well designed, has a myriad of safety features and maintenance reminders. It is big enough to carry my whole house including the AC. Of course you need to be mindful of combined loads like running a dryer, the oven, the microwave, and the central AC all at the same time... It can handle the AC and one other large load and the rest of the house lighting, electronics, refrigerator, freezer well pump and so on just fine. Just don't roast a turkey and dry your clothes at the same time if you have an electric oven and dryer. So long as it is operated per the manual it hasn't given me any issues. There's some concern over the CO sensor if it starts to malfunction it will not allow the generator to run... It would be a normal function if it is detecting CO build up to shut it down. The main thing is, this is an outdoor product and needs proper ventilation. Generator tents can cause CO buildup even if it is outside... A bit of a work around is get a good floor fan (You can run it from the generator and tent it also) and make sure it is blowing on the generator from the opposite side of the exhaust (Blowing the exhaust away). That does two things, it helps clear any CO build up and it help keeps the engine cooler. All around I'm impressed with it. It does require regular maintenance such as oil changes, air filter changes, spark plug cleaning or changes, etc. It has a built in oil filter that also needs periodic cleaning. so if your not one to do that yourself make sure you know someone who can help with that or it will have issues eventually.

Easy to use and flexible

I bought this in North Carolina but spend a lot of time in Florida too. EVERYTHING you need to get started, except fuel, is included and you can have it up and running quickly. I love the tri-fuel options and power. This blows away anything I saw my neighbors using after the hurricanes in Florida. If power is out, the gas stations will be closed. I've got the options of using propane and natural gas.

Converted from Standby to Portable, so far so good

After moving I wanted to find an alternative generator due to the cost of a full standby system, which we had at our last home. Love the Natural gas feature on this unit with the power to support much of my critical home items. Unit fired right up and is easy to use! Just installed a transfer switch as well to pair with this unit!

First generator

I was looking for something that had 3 different fuels and the power to run a lot of stuff in my home. I have only test for a few hour after the transfer switch setup was come. Turned everything on and ran the generator. Everything ran and looked like i could add more to the generator. The engine is loud not a bad thing it makes me feel like it will have the power to keep everything running.

Westinghouse Tri Fuel Generator 10500TFc

I did a ton of research before purchasing this Westinghouse as a whole home generator option. After losing power during the previous freeze in Houston and recently being without power for Hurricane Beryl I decided to install a transfer switch and find a generator powerful enough to run my whole house. Have a quick connect to my NG line but I like that it has the Tri Fuel option. I have it running a 3 ton HVAC on soft start, 2 sets of washer/dryers, full size fridge, 2 mini fridges & lights. (Not all at the same time but I'm sure it can)

Easy to Start

I bought this for our house in Erie PA, where it snows a lot. It will run our whole house. It is easy to start and the User Manual is very detailed. It would help to mention in the User Manual to push the reset buttons on the GFI outlets. It took me a while to figure out why it wasn't producing power through those outlets. Works great though.

Great unit!

Wanted a Tri-Fuel unit big enough to power my needed equipment during outages. The unit fired right up with a 20lb propane tank for the initial test run, was quieter than expected for a large generator, and the remote control is a great bonus. So far, I'm extremely happy with the purchase!

Easy set up -includes all LP &NG hoses

I just received generator after ordering over a month ago , All is complete and easy to assemble . The one thing NOT mentioned in "start up procedure' was to TURN the BATTERY switch on . That had me going for a while . Also will remember to turn battery OFF when not running in storage as figure that over time without included charger the battery indicator light would run battery down .
