It is not super loud and dries hair quickly! It has a scalp shield to protect your scalp from the heat! The heat settings are absolutely perfect! I would 100 percent recommend it!

And it dries my hair in almost half the time compared to my old dryer. It has multiple heat and speed settings, allowing for customized drying depending on hair type and style. The cool shot button is a nice touch for setting styles, and I’ve noticed my hair feels smoother and less frizzy after using it. While it’s not silent, it’s much quieter than other models I’ve tried. This is a huge plus if you’re sensitive to noise or share a space with others. And I love the 3 tools, they are easy to use and decrease the fizz of my hair. Overall I really love this hairdryer!!

I had been using the Bio ionic blow dryer and this runs circles around it. My hair was breaking and extremely dry and now it is strong and healthy. I didn’t think a blow dryer could do what this one does. The attachments make it even better!!! I love using the frizz fighter finishing tool. It’s like magic!!! My hair doesn’t stick up anymore and there is ZERO frizz!!!! This is coming from a 3c hair type. I’m in awe of how my hair is now. Thank you for this magical tool! I will never use another blow dryer again.

I would say that I am shocked by the quality and performance of this hairdryer, but it’s made by Shark so OF COURSE it’s well made and performs amazingly!! I own many Shark products and I will always choose and recommend a Shark over most other brands!! Now on to the actual hair dryer!! The overall weight and feel of the dryer and the attachments are so impressive. The size of this dryer is compact which I love as it fits so well into my small vanity drawer. It is more quiet than typical dryers and the attachments provide several different ways to dry your hair. Another very neat feature this dryer offers is a scalp protection mode. If you dry your hair to 80% then you can activate Scalp Shield Mode for drying at the roots which protects new hair growth!! Pretty important for those of us trying to keep our hair as healthy as possible!! I would definitely recommend this hair dryer and honestly any other Shark product you come across!!

Also, it's perfect for those with frizzy hair. It comes with three very useful attachments. The most notable one is the "frizz fighter finishing tool" which actually works and tames all my frizz flyaways at an astonishing speed without using a straightener. The purpose of this tool is to straighten, dry, style, and protect the hair in a quick and safe way. There's a cooling button and built-in IQ that protects the scalp from high heat so your hair can continue to grow without any damage. There's so much strength in and power in this tool. The heat is strong, the noise level isn't any lounder than your typical hair dryer, and there's a filter included that can easily be cleaned. Doing so will allow it to perform correctly. All it takes is an easy little twist to get to it. The filter is reusable so theres no need to keep replacing it and keeping it clean will give it a lot longer lasting life span and keep it from collecting dust and debrees. There's three attachments included that primarily focus on straightening, volumizing, and getting rid of hair frizz. As you can see in the picture, each tool is unique, and there's a book and QR code attached to guide you on how you can pull off each hair style routine. My girlfriends hair is naturally very frizzy and curly as is, as you can see in the photos half of her hair is frizzy and in the other half she used the styler to comb dry and straighten her hair. Her favorite thing about the speed style pro is its quick ability to dry and style her hair before she goes into work. The Shark Speed Style Pro gets the job done way quicker than an average hair dryer. I highly recommend this product.

Since I also own the Dyson hair dryer, I can offer some comparisons. In my experience, the Shark dries hair faster than the Dyson, though it doesn’t leave my hair feeling quite as silky soft. Still, for the price, it’s an excellent styling tool: easy to use, super lightweight, and efficient. Overall, I would definitely recommend it!

Three speed settings, and really 4/5 temp settings with unreal power. My wife LOVES it. Great locking mechanism for the attachments too…just really well engineered. Even down to the size of the plug. It’s about half the size of a regular plug. Great product, super happy with it.

First, Shark is lighter and smaller in size, making it easier to hold, which makes the drying and styling process less tiring. Second, Shark has a Scalp Shield mode to protect new hair growth. Third, Shark comes with a rotating Quicksmooth brush attachment, which works perfectly for my porous curly hair to create a structured wave. Knowing all its advantages, I would definitely choose Shark. Highly recommend!

Although I didn’t get the diffuser with the package, but I am looking forward to order that attachment and use it. That said, the accessories take some getting used to. The quick-smooth brush, in particular, sits at a weird angle on the handle, which makes it hard to work with—maybe I haven’t figured it out completely, but it feels awkward to use. It definitely requires some practice to get comfortable with the angles and how the attachments work. The hair dryer is impressively lightweight, which is a big plus, especially for long styling sessions, and it packs a lot of power. I tried the scalp shield mode, and while it reduced the power, I didn’t notice any other significant effects. That said, I’m excited to see how the no-heat-damage feature holds up as I start using it more regularly.
