It dries and styles at the same time while not only protecting my hair, but also my scalp. It also does all this in no time flat. I don't know how I made it so long without this in my life but never again! I have naturally straight hair but still find myself using and loving the smoothing brush attachment. My hair has never looked or felt so sleek, shiny, and terrific after a wash. Usually I have to wait a few days post cleanse for the perfect hair day but this assures it happens EVERY day. Best of all, the time it takes is essentially nothing- it's cooling down and since I won't be damaging my hair I can easily go to bed with my hair dry and ready to go. No more freezing after nightly showers. Who knew a blow dryer could change your life

The attachments are a game changer I can see a difference in my hair specially the frizz Very sleek look and feels great on the hand Is really powerful (weirdly at times too powerful ?) the lowest setting is warm It is quite, you can definitely still hear it but it’s very mild and consistent air flow Easy to travel with The concentrator attachment is a game changer for me same as the brush I still need to play around with the frizzfighter finish tool The “scalp shield” drew me in, does it work ? Who knows… time will tell but I can definitely feel a difference of how the air comes out Powerful yet delicate the instructions and manual are helpful I love the black aesthetic, I would love it came with some type of pouch/bag for storage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hate blowdrying my hair. It is one of the most frustrating things for someone with frizzy, wavy hair. This blowdryer is the first one I have tried that actually tames the frizz, dries my hair QUICKLY, is lightweight, and leaves it mostly straight! I only have to straighten over the front pieces. I can't believe it! Love the round brush attachment!

My Dyson hair dryer went out in me after having it for 4 years so I figured I would give the Shark a try since it was half the cost and a top competitor for the Dyson. Overall I am unimpressed by the Shark, with the exception of the lightweight design and heat control settings. In comparison the Sharks attachments are annoying to put on and take off while styling, where the Dyson was magnetic. The on switch is in an awkward spot at the bottom and as a mom who constantly has kids in and out of the bathroom trying to talk to me while I get ready turning it on and off is very inconvenient. The plug in cord is much shorter than the Dyson. Noise level is louder than the Dyson. I have very curly hair and I feel like this blow dryer leaves my hair dry and frizzy where the Dyson was straight and sleek. Overall dry time is about the same.

Have only had this hair dryer for about 6 months and it’s already dying. I have cleaned the filter weekly, yet now every time I use it half way through a blowout it just turns off, it’s already half as powerful as it was when I got it and it’s insanely loud.

First, Shark is lighter and smaller in size, making it easier to hold, which makes the drying and styling process less tiring. Second, Shark has a Scalp Shield mode to protect new hair growth. Third, Shark comes with a rotating Quicksmooth brush attachment, which works perfectly for my porous curly hair to create a structured wave. Knowing all its advantages, I would definitely choose Shark. Highly recommend!
