I got this chipper / shredder about a month ago and I'm really impressed. I run my palm fronds through it as well as the small branches from my tree trimming. It did jam up on me but I inserted branch that was too big from the recommendation of not over 2 inches. I was able to remove the "jam" and it is running fine. The shredded material it produces is great bedding for my flower beds and garden. And the unit is very light and easy to move around the yard. Just be sure to have a long enough outdoor extension chord

I have bought the chipper in May, used it heavily a couple of times the past two months shredding cut down branches from Pale Verde Tree. Works well for an inch thick branch. Clogged the gears once, opening and cleaning is easy. The mulching process brought down branches which would have filled a 60 gallon drum to 5 gallon bag. Great tool

I hated throwing out pruned tree branches. This has helped me get those into my composter/mulcher. This is not heavy duty and needs to be cleaned out frequently especially with more fibrous plant materials which will wind up spooled onto the axle nut. But for a low cost, light duty chipper it does well.

Maybe a little lighter duty than I expected but it does handle all small and medium branches well. I fed the medium limbs 1 by 1 as that worked the best. Also I liked the chip catcher bag (seems long lasting) and the chip size produced, those were small enough to use as wood mulch in the flower bed.

I’m very happy with this wood chipper. I’m making my own garden mulch simply by cleaning up the sticks that fall from my trees. The chipper shreds the sticks into a nicely fine grain mulch that I spread into my garden beds, keeping all the goodness in my own yard. Now I don’t have to worry about pesticides that might be contained in any commercial mulch as I won’t have as much need to purchase mulch, saving a lot of money. This is much more sustainable and will pay itself back in a short time.

I love this chipper. It is so easy to move around, I take it to the pile of branches and not the branches to the chipper. Two items of which to simply be aware - - Make sure you use a properly rated power cord. Not only for the life of the motor, but the longer and thin the gauge the less power the motor has, so it’ll bog down much easier. - Also, it gives the maximum diameter of branch, the branch will fit, but the motor “complains” as it’s chipping.

I am impressed with the this small, electric wood chipper. I have many fruiting trees, Aspens, Pine & Oak to prune, so I needed a chipper to deal with the small branches. I have used the chipper many times, with very few choking problems. I did notice the blades stopped cutting the wood with ease & realized I needed to replace the blades, they had a few chips & had been worn down from all the wood chipping. I ordered 4 sets of new blades for future use.

Like most regular homeowners, I needed a woodchipper that could take care of much of the regular branch trimming around the house without going overboard on a huge gas-powered monster that I'd probably never utilize fully. This little baby does the trick quite nicely. It's got enough power to grind up really hard oak and cedar branches with no problems. Now I'm looking for more branches to trim. It's kinda fun.
