I bought this to add to my composter. It works very well and chews things up quickly. The only drawback is that the opening to put branches and other items through is small so you can't put too much in at one time. Being a safety professional, I understand the reason for that for the safety of the buyer so I can not blame the Mfr. for that.

Maybe a little lighter duty than I expected but it does handle all small and medium branches well. I fed the medium limbs 1 by 1 as that worked the best. Also I liked the chip catcher bag (seems long lasting) and the chip size produced, those were small enough to use as wood mulch in the flower bed.

This wood chipper and shredder works great and does what the description says.
