Excellent coffee for Expresso and French press

Inexpensive, quality, organic coffee. Cheap.

WOW! I AM impressed! This girl has run on DD (Dunkin) since growing up and living in NJ. I grind my bean every morning and do 1 to 2 drip cups every morning. Well, while at Sam's Club I saw this brand Mt. Comfort Coffee and thought never heard of it, nice packaging. I went down the coffee isle again and around the back on the end cap isle (not very visible at all!) and saw the bags of it, vs. K-cup type pods. I picked one up to read about it, it smelled so good! I saw it was Guatemalan and also organic. I have had Guatemalan coffee before and like it. I put it down, then picked it back up as I decided to take a chance on it. Well, I am so glad I did as it is sooooooooooooooo good! So, DD look out, I will definitely go back to buy another bag or two in case they don't continue to sell it. It is very smooth and a lighter blend which I like. Dunkin Donuts for a 1%23 bag is $9.99 and I have to go to Long Beach to get the whole beans as they are the closest place to get it. And no, the DD in the stores is not the same (different roaster). So, for just under $21 I get 2.5%23 and it's good! I just went to the Mt. Comfort Coffee website to read more, and impressed with all they carry other varieties of organic coffee. This coffee was $31 through them! OK, must go now and make my 2nd cup!

Good coffee for the price. Very little bitterness, Not as good as small batch local roasters, but a lot better than most other mass produced brands.

I wanted to like this but I couldn’t. It smelled great in the bag but tastes like brown water. It is very light in color. I have tried adding more scoops but it just gets bitter. I can’t wait for it to be gone so I can move on to better coffee. I will not be purchasing it again. If you are looking for a flavorful, robust coffee, look elsewhere.

Very smooth, but more like a super light roast.

This hardly has any taste. I tried it in my French press, my coffee maker and my ninja espresso machine. Honestly, it will have to go in the compost bin

Beans are very light colored. Taste is extremely pale and bland with an unfavorable aftertaste which is reminiscence of cardboard or leather. I believe it is dirt or possibly pesticide residue. Either way, it's so bad I requested a refund. I have been drinking coffee for 45 years and this is absolutely the worst coffee I have ever tasted in my life. I would drink tasters choice instant coffee before I would drink another cup of this joe dirt gag a maggot off a gut wagon.

We were excited to have an organic whole bean coffee option at Sam's but this was bad. We were expecting nice oily fragrant beans and instead these were very dry and burnt tasting. We ended up throwing it out.
