[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had an LG OLED TV for about 7 years now (also a C model) but it turned out that our family room doesn't get as much action as our bedroom for TV watching. I've been so happy with it that I wanted to upgrade the bedroom, too, and see what kind of improvements have happened in the last few years in LG tech. This TV is absolutely amazing. It's noticeably brighter than my old one, which is important since we have south-facing windows in our bedroom. It seems like it doesn't glare as much for some reason as my older TV, although that could be just a lack of dust on the screen compared to the old one. The blacks are awesome and WebOS is very snappy compared to our previous Fire TV UI - even the older one is holding up better than recent Fire TV purchases, so I think WebOS is great and this TV is future proofed bigtime on that front. I've got it hooked up to my home assistant and I'm able to do basic controls there, although I haven't figured out yet how to open specific apps. Overall I'm super happy with it and wish I had upgraded sooner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from a 5 year old budget 65". What can I say? Wow. The 77" OLED looks amazing. So much thinner and sleeker than my old TV. Color and brightness is light years beyond what I had. Viewing from 11 feet away is perfect. Movies and shows feel immersive. Horror movie jump scares actually make me jump now. Motorcycle racing looks incredible. The C5 can handle the high speed action with ease. This new TV is also used for PS5 gaming and it looks amazing. Not even close to the LED. Games I previously played look and feel completely different. High refresh rate and the colors really change and enhance the gaming experience. WebOS is fine and user friendly. I'm not so sure about the remote yet. Overall, 10/10 would recommend this upgrade if you're coming from an older TV. OLED, this is the way.

The picture quality is amazing — deep blacks, vibrant colors, and HDR content looks fantastic. Watching movies feels really cinematic, and even older shows and streaming content look sharper than I expected. The smart TV interface is easy to use. The picture quality is absolutely gorgeous — deep, perfect blacks, vibrant colors, and excellent contrast. Movies look cinematic, sports are smooth, and even older content benefits from the AI upscaling. This screen size in OLED really transforms the room into a home theater. Picture Quality The OLED evo panel is phenomenal. Dark scenes have incredible detail thanks to the perfect black levels, and bright highlights really pop. Dolby Vision content looks especially impressive. Even in a moderately bright room, the TV holds up well. Gaming Performance If you’re a gamer, this TV is a dream. With 120Hz (and support for higher VRR rates), super low input lag, and compatibility with G-Sync and FreeSync, games feel buttery smooth. My console and PC both look their absolute best on this screen. It’s one of the rare TVs where you immediately notice the difference in responsiveness. Smart Features webOS is clean, fast, and easy to navigate. Apps load quickly, and the personalized home screen is a nice touch. The AI features aren’t just marketing — the TV does a great job optimizing picture and sound on the fly. Sound For built-in speakers, the audio is surprisingly spacious. The AI Sound Pro creates a wider, more immersive soundstage than I expected, and Dolby Atmos support is a plus. That said, if you’re building a true home theater, pairing it with a good soundbar or surround system will push it to another level. Design & Build The TV is incredibly thin and looks premium on the wall. The stand works fine, but because of the size, I’d recommend wall-mounting if you can — it really completes the high-end look. Minor Drawbacks Not many. It isn’t the brightest TV on the market, so rooms with tons of direct sunlight may wash it out a bit. The Magic Remote’s pointer function takes some getting used to (you’ll either love it or hate it). And if you rely on DTS audio, just know it's not supported on this model. Final Verdict The LG C5 77" OLED is a fantastic TV that delivers incredible picture quality, outstanding gaming performance, and a refined smart TV experience. It’s the perfect centerpiece for a home theater or gaming setup. For the price and performance, it’s one of the best large-screen OLEDs you can buy right now. Highly recommended.

I picked an OLED because I wanted the vibrant colors and picture quality. The colors are vibrant, the blacks are pitch black. The speakers of the TV were also great, don't even need a soundbar. The TV is also loaded with apps and buttery smooth. The C5 was also easy to setup. I'd recommend this TV my friends and family.
