The input lag is nearly nonexistent, and HDMI 2.1 support on all ports is a huge plus for next-gen consoles. The webOS interface is fast and intuitive, and pairing it with the Magic Remote feels natural — voice commands work great too. The built-in speakers are surprisingly full, but pairing it with a Dolby Atmos soundbar takes it to a whole new level. At 83 inches, the size is immersive without overwhelming the room. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from a 5 year old budget 65". What can I say? Wow. The 77" OLED looks amazing. So much thinner and sleeker than my old TV. Color and brightness is light years beyond what I had. Viewing from 11 feet away is perfect. Movies and shows feel immersive. Horror movie jump scares actually make me jump now. Motorcycle racing looks incredible. The C5 can handle the high speed action with ease. This new TV is also used for PS5 gaming and it looks amazing. Not even close to the LED. Games I previously played look and feel completely different. High refresh rate and the colors really change and enhance the gaming experience. WebOS is fine and user friendly. I'm not so sure about the remote yet. Overall, 10/10 would recommend this upgrade if you're coming from an older TV. OLED, this is the way.

So many settings to tweak so you can get the levels of smoothing, de-judder, and color correction to suit your taste. Or turn on Filmmaker mode and leave the settings up to the creator of whatever you're watching! Big fans of horror movies here, so the darkness of the black pixels was a big selling point. They fully deliver on the promise; the contrast is amazing, and we're exciting to use this TV for many years to come. Only small downside is the lack of support for the Kanopy app; so many high-quality movies that we wish we had easy access to in the LG ecosystem.

The TV handles HDR well, producing rich contrast and impressive detail, and LG’s webOS platform remains smooth and easy to navigate. While the C5 is brighter than earlier C-series models, it still isn’t as bright as some high-end Mini-LED or QD-OLED competitors, which can matter in rooms with a lot of direct sunlight. Reflection handling is good but, like most OLEDs, not perfect in very bright environments. Overall, the LG C5 is a fantastic balance of performance and value—ideal for movie lovers, gamers, and anyone who wants premium image quality without stepping up to a more expensive flagship model.

If you watch tv on basic apps or cable like spectrum, the picture is still good. i noticed more sharpness on the C5 then the C4. Also, for gamers, the 4 HDMI ports are great. it allows for me to have my xbox, switch, and soundbar to all be active with an extra port to spare. The apps on the TV are great as the TV supports everything I use from Crunchyroll to HBO MAX. Overall, this is a great TV. Super bright and perfect black. This is my first OLED so I am super happy with it.
