Customer reviews for LG 48" Class OLED evo C6 Series 4K Smart TV forGreat Picture
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really happy with the 77" C5, it is in a room with large windows on an adjacent wall and I haven't had any issues with the picture during the day, I often forget to turn on the "bright room" feature. I also really like the gaming hub overly, have always used consoles and have never been able to see FPS while playing, lots of neat features hiding in there I wasn't expecting and didn't see when researching.
Hi bham, thank you for sharing your review of the LG OLED77C5PUA. We’re glad to hear the picture quality holds up beautifully even in a bright room, and that the gaming hub overlay has been such a pleasant surprise with its extra features. It’s wonderful knowing the TV exceeded your expectations. #LifesGood ❤️ For any further assistance, feel free to DM us at @LGUSSupport. LG Digital Care Team ^Rich
Best Tv I’ve ever owned!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best tv I’ve ever owned. The clarity and just brightness and colors popping. The tv was on sale and was very much worth it. I will buy an lg oled for every room that doesn’t have window opposite. Playing video games on it makes gaming feel even funner.

Just what I wanted
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the 2nd LG OLED I've purchased. They really have the best picture quality out of all high end televisions. I use this to play on my PS5 too and the response times really are faster than a non OLED tv.

Fantastic TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is why you buy an OLED, and the C5 delivers. The perfect blacks and infinite contrast are still stunning to see, even if you’re used to the technology. Where the C5 really shines, and where I agree with the expert consensus, is in its brightness and color. Watching 4K HDR content (especially in Dolby Vision) is a transformative experience. Highlights pop with incredible vibrancy without washing out the rest of the image, and the color volume is outstanding. In my moderately bright living room, the C5's brightness is more than enough to provide a punchy, gorgeous image during the day, which is a huge step up from older OLEDs.
Hi Dom, thank you for sharing your feedback on the LG OLED77C5PUA. ❤️ We’re thrilled to hear the perfect blacks, infinite contrast, and vibrant HDR brightness have impressed you, making 4K Dolby Vision content a truly transformative experience. It’s wonderful knowing the C5 has elevated your living room setup with stunning color and clarity. #LifesGood If you ever need support, please DM us at @LGUSSupport. LG Digital Care Team ^Rich
Great TV - lets you disabled ads!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've upgraded from an LG C2 65 inch TV to a C5 77 inch TV and I'm very happy with the outcome. The TV looks great, is a LOT brighter than the C2 series, and performs well in my quite-bright living room. Additionally, LG WebOS lets you disable home screen ads - this is a KEY selling point for me! Overall I am very satisfied with the new TV.

Major Upgrade from LG 65CX
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just turned on this TV and it is a major upgrade from the 65CX I had previously. The CX still looks amazing but this is noticeably brighter. I also like the picture in picture feature for viewing two HDMI's. I am a little disappointed they removed pass through DTS but the CX didn't have it either so I knew this before getting it. This TV was much lighter than the 65CX and felt more solid. The CX was scary when moving it around.

Excellent TV for everything
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am an avid movie watcher and gamer. This TV can handle it all. Movies look amazing, especially in 4k/HDR. If you watch tv on basic apps or cable like spectrum, the picture is still good. i noticed more sharpness on the C5 then the C4. Also, for gamers, the 4 HDMI ports are great. it allows for me to have my xbox, switch, and soundbar to all be active with an extra port to spare. The apps on the TV are great as the TV supports everything I use from Crunchyroll to HBO MAX. Overall, this is a great TV. Super bright and perfect black. This is my first OLED so I am super happy with it.
Hi Brian, thank you for sharing your review of the LG OLED77C5PUA. We’re thrilled to hear it’s been excellent for both movies and gaming, with sharper picture quality compared to the C4 and stunning 4K HDR performance. It’s great knowing the four HDMI ports and wide app support have made your setup seamless, and that the brightness and perfect blacks have impressed you on your first OLED experience. We’re glad you’re super happy with the upgrade! #LifesGood ❤️ For any further assistance, feel free to DM us at @LGUSSupport. LG Digital Care Team ^Rich
Brilliant TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are looking for the ultimate centerpiece for your home theater, the LG OLED77C5PUA is effectively the "gold standard" TV of 2025. Succeeding the wildly popular C4, the C5 doesn’t reinvent the wheel—it polishes it to a blinding shine. I have spent two weeks with the 77-inch C5, throwing everything from 4K Blu-rays to high-frame-rate PC games at it. Here is why this TV is an absolute beast. 1. Picture Quality: Intelligence Meets Intensity The headline feature this year is the new α9 AI Processor Gen8. LG talks a lot about "AI" in their marketing, but this year you can actually see it working. Brightness: While the C5 doesn't have the Micro Lens Array (MLA) tech reserved for the pricier G5, it is noticeably brighter than last year's C4. The "Brightness Booster" tech pushes highlights—explosions, streetlights, stars—with an intensity that makes HDR content pop off the screen. SDR Performance: This is the sleeper hit feature. The C5 takes standard content (like older TV shows or 1080p streams) and revitalizes it. The upscaling is cleaner, sharper, and brighter without looking artificial. Color & Contrast: You get the infinite contrast OLED is famous for. Blacks are inky and perfect. Colors are rich but natural. 2. Gaming: The Best Just Got Better If you are a gamer, stop looking. You have found your TV. The 77-inch canvas is immersive enough to replace a multi-monitor setup. 144Hz Refresh Rate: PC gamers can push frame rates up to 144Hz for buttery smooth motion. VRR & ALLM: With full support for NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium, screen tearing is nonexistent. Game Optimizer: The dashboard puts critical settings (black stabilizer, genre presets) one click away. Input lag is virtually undetectable. 3. Design & Usability The "C" series aesthetic remains undefeated. The panel is razor-thin—thinner than your smartphone—and the 77-inch model sits on a sturdy, premium stand (though it begs to be wall-mounted). webOS 25: The new operating system is snappier than ever. The "AI Concierge" actually learns what you like rather than just pushing random ads. Navigating between Netflix, GeForce Now, and HDMI inputs feels instant. 4. The "Wow" Factor There is something visceral about a 77-inch OLED. It fills your peripheral vision. Watching Dune: Part Two or playing Cyberpunk 2077 on this screen isn't just "watching TV"—it’s an event. The sheer scale combined with the pixel-perfect contrast creates a 3D-like depth that LED TVs still can't quite replicate. Any Downsides? Sound: The built-in 2.2 channel audio is surprisingly decent with clear dialogue, but if you are spending this much on a visual masterpiece, do yourself a favor and buy a Dolby Atmos soundbar. The TV deserves it. Glass Reflection: Like all glossy OLEDs, you’ll want to control the lighting in your room. It handles reflections better than the C3 or C4, but direct sunlight is still the enemy. Final Thoughts The LG OLED77C5PUA is a triumph.[1] It sits in that perfect sweet spot: significantly better than entry-level OLEDs, but much more affordable than the flagship G5 Gallery Series. If you want a TV that will make your jaw drop every time you turn it on for the next 5 years, this is the one. Pros: Stunning HDR brightness and contrast Class-leading gaming features (144Hz, 0.1ms response)[1] New Alpha 9 Gen 8 processor makes everything look 4K[2] Gorgeous, ultra-thin design[3]

Great quality, but latest webos has issues
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The image quality is great and display is brighter, compared to my previous C2. However, the latest webos seems to have frequent memory problems resulting in app restarts when watching 4K dolby vision content.
Hi Eugene, thank you for sharing your experience with the LG OLED77C5PUA. It’s great to hear the brighter display and excellent image quality compared to your previous C2. For the WebOS memory issue, we recommend checking for the latest firmware update in Settings > Support > Software Update, and closing unused apps by holding the Home button and clearing them from memory.
