I think this is better than the traditional chalky type of deodorant. The smell was good and not too strong. It was mild and did not smell like old cologne like some can. He does prefer an antiperspirant and deodorant product, but said this works nicely for the days he's home. My husband likes the gel formula as it doesn't clump and is easy to apply. This has a nice scent (although it doesn't really smell like cedarwood to us), and lasts the whole day. It lasts all day while my husband is working in a welding shop giving him the odor protection he needs keeping him feeling fresh and odor free.
