Pros: Very fast, nice display, very good sound, as expected. Setup is simple from an HP perspective; most of the work is setting up Windows. Silent operation. Cons: Face recognition is hit or miss; not sure if this is an HP or software issue. A bit heavier and thicker than I thought it would be. Wouldn't be the best for traveling, but I use it as an office computer.

I needed to replace my existing HP laptop which is not compatible with Windows 11. I did alot of research and found the HP OmniBook 7 and it checked all of the boxes that I was looking for. I couldn't be happier with this computer, and I am planning on purchasing a second one. Thank you, Doug Rancho Cucamonga

I always buy HP laptops. Well, this time I decided to go with a different brand and after 6 months I said NO......... I don't like this like my other ones. I lost money but I went back to the HP laptops. I wanted something that was going to last a long time. Fast, plenty of memory, and all of the good features. I absolutely love my OmniBook 7. It has everything. There are 2 things I don't care for and I am sure I can change these in the settings. I don't really like face recognition and I don't like that it goes to sleep after a few seconds from walking away from it. I would recommend purchasing this item.

I purchased this machine on flash sale. I am very pleased with the performance. Eight hundred with Ultra 7, 32G RAM, & 1TB SSD. I use the machine for home office and CAD (small 2D work) primarily. It boots fast. It's lightweight. The touchscreen is excellent resolution for my needs. Battery life is fantastic. The PCMover migration went well, other than the cable being pointless. My only complaint is with Windows 11 and how well it wakes when docked and connected through a switch with my work PC. I have the same issue with my work PC, also, which started with the Windows 11 "upgrade". This is a software complaint and definitely not a machine complaint.

I have been a fan of HP Products for a very long time. As I understand it, this new OmniBook series is taking the place of the Envy line. I loved two Envys and now adore my Omen desktop and am looking forward to logging many hours on this laptop. I love the 17' size, and it is lightweight too. I am a busy author, TV producer, podcaster and consultant so I expect the Omni to wear a lot of hats!

We currently have three HP's on our table. Touch screen is great for the kid. Fadley's newest HP 7 is fast and has plenty of storage space for the books he writes. That alone makes it very easy on Bray. One improvement would be to add a keyboard cover; a very thin coating that is heat shrunk to fit. This would help with water proof surface.

I am pleased with my HP OmniBook 7 Laptop 17.3" touch screen! My old HP laptop was nearly 14 years old and unable to be updated to Windows 11. I also had an HP desktop that was 13 years old. My goal was to replace both with a laptop. I wanted the largest screen available in a laptop, and I have always been happy with my HP computers, so opted to stay with HP. So far so good. Still in a learning process but set up was easy and I am happy with the screen, keyboard and appearance!

Beautifully and safely packaged on receipt. Quick and easy startup. Fast processing speed on complicated images and high resolution that makes images easy and quickly manipulated. Very light and not cumbersome at all. Very happy with purchase. Can recommend wholeheartedly.

Give me sometime to really get into it. But so far this is my first HP I always went with another company and I like it more .

Really good Laptop at a fair price for what is a solid configuration to get through the next set of years
