The HP OmniBook 7 is a wonderful laptop. I have owned several Dells, an Acer, and an LG and this is far superior to all the others. Setup was outstanding—no glitches like with other laptops and everything went smoothly. In use, it is fast and again, no glitches like with Dell models. Storage is great, display is excellent. It is a pleasure to use.

Our problem is that our two old HP laptops are performing so much better than expected that we have delayed in setting up this new WONDERFUL HP laptop! So far we have been very impressed with this& new HP laptop.

I love the new battery health features included. Not only can I limit battery charging to 80% which my previous HP laptop had too, but I no longer have to worry about leaving my laptop plugged into the dock even after the battery charge has reached 80%. It'll stop charging and basically take the battery out of the equation, powering the laptop directly from the power cord. NICE!!! The 17" screen is bright and vibrant, working well even outside, and the included nVidia card is great for when I'm docked to my big 27" gaming monitor. One thing I'd like to see is the ability to unlock the advanced BIOS settings on this laptop. I was unable to utilize certain features of the (business level) 280W dock because I couldn't get access to that, so I ended up downgrading to the 180W model. (I had even tried all the reddit suggestions to try to unlock it to no avail.)

My laptop arrived when promised and in excellent condition. Set up was pretty straight forward. Battery life between charges seems very good, although I only use the computer for personal use. After 3 weeks of using this computer I am very pleased with the machine.

I have had several HP Laptop computers. They all work great, (I’ve also had many HP printers and multi function printers). This laptop replaces my Windows 10 laptop, with a 1TB solid state hard drive and 32 GB of RAM. I truly like it. Unfortunately, I don’t use its AI features.

Well, I replaced by HP Core I7 laptop with an HP Core Ultra 7 this past month. One of things I needed was triple external monitor support (via USB-C) which the I7 did not have. Now the Ultra 7 has twice the RAM, so it's faster. However, I thought I specified I wanted ETHERNET, but I don't have an ethernet jack on this laptop. But, the WiFi is still fast enough for my needs.

This is my 5th HP computer. '91 was a 386 SX-16 and then a few laptops over the years - the older laptop from '14 still works; that's impressive! The original battery is still alive... What I don't like is the overly sensitive "rocker" as opposed to the older L/R buttons on the touch pad. Also there's something I've NEVER seen before...the up/down page ▲▼ buttons are wonky - some web pages scroll just fine and some "page up - page down", NOT scroll; that's a time eating pain. It does boot fast though....wow! Windows 11 is NOT intuitive - 10 was easy to figure out in just a few hours..not HP's fault. Overall I'd buy another one.

I love the machine, my husband bought it for me, so have nothing to say on set up. The color is good, word program is great, I am writing a book, and the memory allows me to move around great amounts of material with ease. l like the size of the screen but am unhappy with the weight of the machine. it is faster and easier to use than the last machine, but the size of the keyboard is a little off.

This is my last HP laptop purchase. Each laptop I buy has a different keyboard layout, and each removes keys that I use frequently. The current keyboard removed the right side ctl-/alt- keys, and the page-up/page-down keys plus other various changes. My HP_Omen_17t has similar deficient changes. To give an example of the impact consider, ctl-{a, c, x, v, d, z} all have a meaning and are convenient when the right-side ctl- key is present. When absent it forces a user two press two keys on the left side at the same time which is much slower, requires some dexterity or the use of two hands, one to press the ctl- and the to press the command completion. Or take the page-up/page-down etc. The HP-Omni and HP-Omen are different, and laughably, the HP-Omni brings up a calculator when one of the 'keys' is used. Someone needs to take a typing class.

Since I bought the Laptop I have been having problems with glitches in the system from time to time and unable to enjoy it; actually its giving me some stress as I am not able to work at all at times. it freeze, the cursor start blinking or disappear, outlook email start jumping around by itself and I have reboot the system again.
