This is not, in any way, similar to a sourdough bread. This bread is some kind of white bread that doesn't taste or look like sourdough at all.

The bread is too stale for sandwiches; will have to toast it. Purchased this same brand of bread last week and it was starting to mold

THE BREAD WAS SWEET NOT SOUR. THIS IS NOT SOUR DOUGH BREAD. I KNOW THE REAL THING WHEN I TASTE IT. I WAS REAL DISAPPOINTED.

If I wanted mass produced sugar bread, I would have chosen it. I cannot believe I was given no choice to decline substitutions.

I'm sure Pepperidge Farm is capable of making sourdough bread, but this is not it. This bread has no hint of sourdough flavor. It is heavy and high calorie. In short, it is just plain old thick sliced white bread. 3 stars because it is bread after all.
