There was a time when this was our favorite mass-produced bread. In the past year or so however: (1) it's stopped tasting even a HINT like sourdough bread. (2) they've reduced the size while raising the price, (3) quality control is horrible- the last FOUR LOAVES I bought (from Walmart and other places) featured huge gaping holes in every loaf; Pepperidge Farms will say “oh, we're so sorry, must be a plant defect.” If it's this regular and routine across batches, it's not a one-off defect. It's systematic, and it's a scam. We've stopped buying it now and when we can't get somewhere with good locally-baked loaves that taste as they're supposed to, we switched our Walmart orders to “Great Value Sourdough.” It won't really taste of sourdough either, but the loaves are always large and uniform, texture is good, and it costs around $2 less per loaf than the Pepperidge Farm swindle.

Pepperidge Farm is a well-known brand and the quality is always good. The bread was fresh and the slices were solid, without air holes, so good consistency. The taste was really good. The price is more than I would like, but compared to Artisan Breads from a bakery, this one is just as good for about 40 percent less. Great company for breads and cakes.

This is terrible. Not sourdough at all and I'm pretty mad about it. It was a sub because they were out of the deli rye bread I tried to order, then out of the deli sourdough as well. This is sweet like Hawiian rolls. Going to have to use it for french toast.

The order was great this time. Substitutes were given on the few items that were missing. The site now says when something isn't available. This is most valuable so you can make your own substitute items. And the groceries were brought out on time so I didn't have to wait a long time. Good job Church Street Walmart Conway SC

bro this is NOT sourdough bread AT ALL. the bread itself is like eh, its SWEET tho. how can sourdough be sweet? it can't, and after you chew it for a while you can kind of taste the sour but the sour tastes like candy sour and not sourdough bread. I JUST WANT SOME SOUR DOUGH BREAD I CAN HAVE WITH MY BROCCOLI CHEDDAR SOUP. im so disappointed bro :(

The only bread I buy. I keep it in the fridge and never goes bad.
