I had the original Opal Ice Maker and when I saw that GE had a newer version, I purchased it. It's well designed, quieter, and makes ice faster.

I love the machine, however I wished it could actually keep the ice cold rather than melting when is done.

We love the ice but have to statically set it to make ice when we are away cause the machine makes a squeaking sound
